Food: This is a wonderful Victorian type tea room with an even sweeter hostess. We celebrated an Aunt's birthday on August 27, 2007 and this was a perfect choice. We arrived a bit early and noticed she was in the garden gathering fresh herbs and flowers for garnishes. Her tea room is the front room in a Bed and Breakfast. The food was homemade and delicious. The presentation on the three tiered server was beautiful. She serves Harney and Sons loose leaf tea. Several courses of food - griddle scones with cream and jam, four savories, fresh fruit cup, assorted sweets, and sherbet. She even presented our Aunt with a special birthday cupcake. This is definitely one of our top tea rooms, even with a two hour drive. |
