Food: A girlfriend and I went to the The Lobby Tea Court at the Phoenician. It is a lovely venue for tea. Natalie the server was very friendly. In the backgroud, Allan was playing classical music and show tunes on the piano, it felt like he was serenading us. China is exquisite. Sandwiches were plentiful and tasty. With many varieties to choose from. My personal favorite was the chicken salad with lemon and thyme, delicious. Don't be afraid to ask for seconds! Scones were great, light and fluffy with lemon curd, devon cream and strawberry preserves. 2 varieties to choose from: buttermilk and cranberry. Desserts were great as well, 7 varieties to choose from. They even gave us goodies to take home. My only complaint is the tea pot was too large, other than that it was truly a terrific experience! I can see why it was vote #1 in AZ! I will definitely make it out there again! Try it and see! |

Food: I attended with a red hat group and I was very pleasantly surprised that the 'tea' was as lovely as I hoped it would be. The food was delicious and varied as were the selections of tea. I highly recommend this 'adventure'. |
