actually i have not visited this tea room yet but the two owners visited my tearoom last year they were very nice ladies and i'm sure they are excellcent cooks can't wait for them to come back to somewhere in thyme in martinsville indiana. girls beleive me we will visit you soon .thanks again for telling us about the website.

I have been to this tea room several times. The variety of teas available is amazing. Many in my family are hooked on this hidden little secret in Yorktown. Jana is very knowledgeable about the medicinal benefits of tea. They have the biggest inventory of white teas around. Carolyn's food is great!

Tea in the Country is a perfect place for a 'special occasion' with family and friends. My first visit was with my mother-in-law and 7 year old daughter, and she (my daughter) has been bugging me to go back ever since! The ladies are very friendly and knowledgeable and it is the perfect place to pick up a gift for the tea lover in your life!

Wow! An experience that will be hard to compare. White, green, black, herbal teas in loose leaf and brand names of tea bags. Jana is extremely knowledgable in the history and etiquette of teas. She has a great gift for sharing her knowledge. Carolyn has created a comfortable, homey, and romantic atmosphere, while serving each plate brimming with fresh personally crafted tea sandwiches, soups, quiches, and desserts. After visiting a few other tearooms, Tea in the Country offers more for your money in food, education, and overall experience. One will need to hurry to make reservations, because once this best-kept-secret spreads it will be standing room only.

I enjoyed the company and the explanation of the different teas. The teas all had good flavor. The variety of food was excellant & filling. My husband was a coffee drinker & he even enjoyed himself. I will definitely go back.

This was the best tea room that I have been to!! I learned so much about tea from Jana & Carolyn's food was delicious!! The price was extremely reasonable. I cannot wait to take my daughters there so they can have the experience too!

I love Tea in the Country. They provide a variety of delicous foods, much more than you can eat. Their teas are delicous, they have a large variety and are very knowledgable. The atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable, the service is excellent. I can't wait to go back!
