One of the nicest food establishments I have been to. The women who own the Tea Room are so inviting and the service/food is excellent. I highly recommend stopping here for lunch or tea and then walk through the lovely shops in Milford.

Due to visiting this tea room previously, I chose it to bring my 9 year old granddaughter and a couple of her friends for their 1st tea experience.
So appreciated the extra time they took in giving an 'etiquette' lesson to the girls.
Would recommend this tea house to all......and especially for those having young children who might want to learn the art of 'having tea'.
Everything was presented beautifully....tasted great....a nice afternoon

Three of us went to Tea J's to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. We had their daily special, which was wonderful. Fiona & Cinty even brought my sister-in-law's apple pie parfait with a candle in it and sang for her. We really enjoyed their warm hospitality and how beauifully the house was decorated for autumn. We definitely will plan on returning again!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely lunch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting (like going to grandmother's house) with the owners answering all our tea questions and sharing some of the history of the house. We were there two hours and never felt rushed - just like teatime should be. The food and service was excellent. Even though the gift shop is small we were still able to purchase a lovely teapot and book and some tea leaves of the type we enjoyed during our lunch . We definitely plan to return soon with others. Thanks for a tealightful afternoon!

The two 'Sues' tried Tea J's for the very first time last week and loved the charming atmosphere and hospitality shown to us by Cindy and Fiona. We were treated like dear old friends who came to call! The loose leaf teas that we tried were excellent, and the food presentation was a work of art. Our only complaint? It's not close enough for us to visit weekly! We drove 1 hr and 15 minutes! We will be back though; we want to experience Tea J's at the holidays.

EXCELLENT all the way. Selection of teas could be a bit bigger though. It was just as a proper tea should be, variety of goodies and all prepared fresh. It was wel worth the drive from Garden City to Southfield (to pick up Dad's wife), to Milford and I will do it again.

My friend and I traveled from Saginaw to Tea J's Tea Room. It was just wonderful! The atmosphere was charming, the loose tea selection vast, the tea sandwiches and desserts superb and the overall experience very enjoyable! This was my friend's first time having 'tea' and she enjoyed the relaxing and delicious time. I look forward to returning and bringing many more friends. Well worth the drive! The owners were very friendly and hospitable.

WE 'ALL' are DISAPPOINTED! I guess most just don't know what is excellent & what is NOT!
However the service was wonderful. Yet just another tea room, food nothing special.Maybe we are too spoiled.
Thanks anyway!

We are sorry to disappoint you, wish we could have known while you were visiting us. It's always a learning experience to hear what people like and dislike, it helps us become better.

My two girlfriends and I had lunch at Tea J's Tea Room on Saturday. It was our first visit to this tea room, and we enjoyed it very much. We also spent time browsing the gift shop and taking advantage of the 25% discount on selected items. What a relaxing, pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Thank you Cindy and Fiona, you have a wonderful establishment, and we look forward to visiting in the future.
