Food:  We visited this shop while on vacation last week, and it was absolutely delightful. We had tea and scones there and bought a ton of tea to bring home, as well as a lovely new teapot. The owner was friendly and helful, and the service and food were wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone! Food: My sister recently hosted an 'afternoon tea' bridal shower for me. Joe was absolutely wonderful. He was very kind and hospitable to all of our guests. The teas that he served were excellent! Having Joe there to brew the tea and answer questions made the event what it was. I keep hearing from guests that they couldn't decide which type of tea was their favorite. Thank you Joe for helping to make my bridal shower an event to remember. I highly recommend Joe and Tea Merchant 101 for your next event. |

Food: I recently hosted a bridal shower and tea for my sister. Joe brewed and served the tea for the event and it was wonderful! The tea was delicious and the guests enjoyed it very much. Joe was great to work with. I didn't have to worry about a thing as he handled everything. I highly recommend Tea Merchant 101. |

Food: the tea merchant 101 is a delightful venue where guests are always greeted with a smile from proprietor, joe doyle. roseanne and angela also work there and are cheerful and so helpful. what better place to celebrate my 65th birthday than right here? all my friends were thrilled with this creative party. joe gives a very informative lecture on the history of tea and we all drink samples, along with scones and cookies. these treats are available daily. joe creates charming and unique gift baskets and is so helpful with selecting the items for the gift. we are so fortunate to have this relaxing place to visit and enjoy the health benefits of drinking tea, chatting with friends and feeling happy to have escaped the daily rush of life, to experience the tea ceremony! we have laughs and sometimes even create our own tea blends. hopefully, you will stop by this award winning spot for a spot of tea!! |
