Spotless white linens, fresh flowers and the unique China setting for each table gives a different 'feel' to dining at Tea on the Mountain.
But it is the food that counts and that is where you can't go wrong, whether a Luncheon, High or Afternoon Tea or Dinner.
The open inviting tea room has plenty of space for you and your guests. With room for 48 diners,we can accomodate almost any size party - with reservations always a good idea and requested for eight or more.
While you wait for you meal to arrive, browse the collection of fine china and silver on display around the tea room. Enjoy looking or even purchase a piece or two you just cannot live without.

Variety: me and a friend had our annual birthday tea today. As always, it was absolutely wonderful. The food was delectable, the stories with the tea were a wonderful little extra. Even LOVED the happy birthday song!!!! Wished I could celebrate birthdays more often! |

Variety: Well another enjoyable afternoon at my favorite tea room. Do not be deceived by the understated outside appearance. Once you step inside expect to enter another world. From lunch to high tea, it is one enjoyable, relaxing experience after another. Before you know it 2 or 3 hours have passed. Pat and Myrna will treat you so special. I especially like the historical stories with high tea that Pat shares. The food always delights. The portions are generous....yet exquisite. They do have beautiful pieces for sale as well as art work. I would recommend high tea at least once. It to me is their speciality. Thanks again Pat & Myrna! |

Variety: Well, it seems some people are so very hard to please! They say a lot about themselves! The simple joy of this place is in the fact of walking thru the door, its NOT what you expect! It presents you with a pleasant suprise! My experience has been WONDERFUL each and every time I have went. And its OFTEN! I enjoy this place ~ THAT much. So many choices of china, that I just love trying to sit at a table in which I have not enjoyed yet eating off that particular place setting before. So many to choose from! I feel like a little girl getting to play 'tea!' What I love the most is the fact that I can go and meet a friend and linger for 2-3 hours. Nowhere else can we do this. Its NOT a sandwich shop disguised as a Tea Room. It IS a Tea Room. And when you are finished eating, you can browse the ... (more) |

Dear Joan,A very famous man once said 'Rudeness is a weak person's attempt at strength.' You have certainly proven his point. Pat |

Variety: We took our grown son and his wife to lunch for the delicious food Myrna prepares and Pat serves. The atmosphere is enhanced by the beautifully set tables (each one with a different fine china pattern), and soft music in the background. We each ordered a different entree; crab-stuffed flounder, quiche, crab cakes and a chicken salad plate. Every plate went back absolutely clean. The food and the gracious service made the meal a real treat. The prices are certainly reasonable. We highly recommend Tea on the Mountain in Tracy City, TN. |

Variety: My husband and I drove from Ringgold, GA, to this tearoom, and it was definitely not worth the trip for me. I visit a lot of tearooms in Georgia and Tennessee, and the food we received was mediocre and overpriced--not a lot of food for the money either. No one was in the restaurant when we arrived and only one other couple showed up before we left. The decor was not nicely decorated like a lot of tearooms, either. It just wasn't a really good experience for us. We don't drink hot tea, so maybe that is the draw. The food is not. |
