Variety: Hundreds of tea choices to pick from, even ones that bloom into flowers with green tea, amazing! The best chicken salad, quiche and popovers I've ever eaten. I had the house Ginger Peach iced tea which is their own brand, Founding Fathers Tea, delicious! Home Made desserts like bread pudding, sherry trifle, and yummy cakes. We had such a good time that we booked our red hat group for this coming April. A splendid place to lunch. |

Variety: I have eaten at the Tea Room in the Valley many times and have always had excellent meals and great service. We even have ordered the quiches to serve to company over the holidays at home. The artichoke quiche is to die for! I love the whimsical atmosphere and have found this one of the best tea rooms I have ever gone to. |

Variety:
A few weeks back I had the good fortune to be taken to lunch at the Tea Room in the Valley by friends I was staying with in St Louis - this is a favourite haunt of theirs and I can easily see why. The service was excellent, the surroundings absolutely charming (the house is like a Thomas Kinkade painting and must look extra lovely in the snow) and the food was beautifully served and was in fact so ample I found it difficult to finish all mine. I hope to revisit my friends next year and will certainly ask for a return visit to the Tea Room in the Valley. |

Variety: A truly disappointing experience. The customer service workers and management had artificial manners/attitudes toward the customers. The management and food service workers talked about other customers behind their backs for other patrons to hear. For the price that my friends and I paid for the meal there was hardly any food on the plate, just a sample taste. On the website it shows a picture with seasonal fruit and healthy portion sizes of food on the plate. When the food came the seasonal fruit consisted of a piece of watermelon. Some of the customers were given better service than others. After our visit my friends and I were still hungry and disappointed in how the management was talking badly about other customers behind their backs (customers that keep them in business). We decided to go to the Hardee's up the street where the atmosphere was warm and genuine. Maybe this establishment should take etiquette lessons from the employees up the street at Hardee's. |

Variety: My friends and I were looking forward to a pleasant lunch and a chance to visit. In searching for directions to this tearoom, we noticed a coupon for a free dessert and printed one for each of us (4 in all). Two ladies had to cancel, so we had extra coupons and decided to give them to customers at another table. Almost immediately, the manager came out, stood in the middle of the dining room and embarrassed my friend, saying the coupons were not like 'dog food coupons' to be shared with others, speaking in a tone loud enough for everyone to hear. The manager later approached our table to request that my friend retrieve the coupons she had given other customers. Needless to say, my friend was very distraught and we were unable to enjoy our meal. Upon requesting our checks, the waitress trie... (more) |
