Variety: A friend and I visited the tearoom recently after not having been here for a couple of years. We LOVED it all over again. We like the way it is decorated, the staff was very friendly and gave wonderful service. The food was EXCELLENT- and we were able to relax and enjoy our visit. I believe that if a place is noisy- it shows that the patrons are relaxed and having a good time. We certainly did. Keep up the good work! |

Variety: As a resident of skippack, pa right down the road- i absolutely LOVE to go to the tea room! they have the BEST lunch sandwiches and a great breakfast as well. All of the reviewers that have had negative comments just sound like stuffy old ladies to me. Take it from someone who has lived here for 25 years.. the tea room has the best lunch around! |

Variety: I was very excited to take my Mom to this tea room. What a mistake! We couldn't have a conversation there - the noise level remined me of a bus station, not a relaxing tea room. My cup was leaking. The tea was in tea bags which I can buy every day in any grocery store and enjoy it in the serenity of my own house from a tea cup that is not leaking. The service was awful. The tea sandwiches (if that's what THAT was) were tasteless. What a wasted afternoon! |

Variety: What a wonderful tea room! After getting my grandmother a gift certificate to come here, which she thoroughly enjoyed, I decided to throw my sister's wedding shower here for about 35 people. The chef worked on a menu with me, and was very accomodating. We had a special menu of ham and cabbage and 'drunken chicken' - an Irish themed party. He also served these delicious little assorted breads. The appetizers and entrees were beautifully displayed and delicious. The plates were all mismatched -too cute. All of our guests were raving about the food. Not to mention the fact that the service was wonderful. No guest wanted for anything. By the way men should not feel threatened to come here, as the interior of the tea room is very colonial and not too feminine. My sister's shower was '... (more) |

Variety: A friend and I recently visited this Tea Room for lunch and we were very disappointed. The noise level is loud, the service is poor and the food is so-so. The tea sandwiches were plain - ham salad, egg salad on white bread. What's that all about? How about some cucumber or asparagus tea sandwiches on brown bread or some other creative idea?? The server we had wasn't friendly and she acted as though we were bothering her by being there...note to the owner: Rethink your strategy here! |

Variety: My dear ladies, Please ignore any negative reviews about this lovely establishment. To go and sit in the tearoom is worth it all. The mismatched china, the old refrigerator, the tiny tables, the fresh flowers---this is a real tea room. The tea is mixed by an artisan who is the person who mixed tea for that dirty Prince Charles when he visited Philadelphia. The food is very, very good. However, don't order the tea sandwiches---get real food. And the desserts are scrummy (get the cream puffs). And there are lots of little shops nearby for a quick spree (and don't forget Skippack, down the road). Go, go, ladies, don't be so picky---this is an American tea house. |
