Food: My friends and I love coming to tea at Tea Rose Cottage. This tea room is about 45 minutes away from where we live but we would probably travel 2 hours to come here for tea! We have a tea room that is closer to our homes, but is just nothing worth writing home about. The Cottage is just so wonderfully calming and gorgeous. The ladies that own this tea room really know how to serve tea. They know us by name by now and they just know exactly what we want every time we come. Food: My sister and her two daughters visited me from Washington this past week. I took them to Tea Rose Cottage for a 'tea party.' We had a wonderful time, the tea was delicious, the food was outstanding (my two neices really enjoyed their children's tea sandwiches) and the service was warm and personable. I was happy to discover the place was very child friendly! All in all, we had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this tearoom! |

Food: My friends and I visit many tea rooms across the Tampa Bay Area and beyond. We were VERY dissatisfied with our visit and will not be returning to Tea Rose Cottage. The service was terrible and unfriendly, we were ignored most of the visit. There was a bridal shower in there but that was no reason for us to be ignored. The chairs were broken and uncomfortable and there was not much room to move around and everyone kept bumping into each other. We were satisfied with the food and tea but feeling welcome and comfort are also a priority. |

Some of our chairs are antique chairs, and had you have made your discomfort known to us, we would have happily tended to your needs, as you are correct comfort is a priority. Food: This is my very favorite tea room ever! Its very beautiful and cozy, and I love the chandelliers! They have an extensive tea list and I choose a different tea each time I go, so that I can eventually try them all. The food is always the best I've had in every tea room, I especially love the scones and the chicken salad sandwiches! The service is also perfect, these ladies know what they are doing! To top it off, I love their gift shops, there are always pretty things to buy! I recommend this particular tea room very highly!! |

Food: My friend and I had Afternoon Tea yesterday for the first time at Tea Rose Cottage. It was just awesome! We loved the decor - this is a really beautiful tea room, very cozy! The food was exceptional, from the tea sandwiches (best chicken salad croissants and cucumbers ever!), the mini-quiches, the scones (yum!), and the deserts (the little 'fairy cakes' were adorable!). We also liked that we could choose the flavor of tea we wanted! The service was excellent, too, and we enjoyed spending time in the gift shops. We love you, Tea Rose, and will be back soon!! |

Food: My two daughters treated me to tea on Mother' Day this past Sunday. Everything was just perfect, the three tiers of delicious scones, tea sandwiches and deserts, the peach and apricot tea was wonderful, and the atmosphere was just right. Even though the tearoom was bustling for Mother's Day, the service was excellent. Fortunately for me, I have a birthday coming up next month and requested a return visit with my daughers as a present! Thank you Tea Rose Cottage for a lovely and memorable Mother's Day! |

Food: Some of my friends and I formed a 'tea group' and have enjoyed afternoon tea at all of the Tampa area tearooms. While most were pleasant enough, Tea Rose Cottage is our absolute favorite, as it met 100% of our 'criteria' list. They have an extensive list of teas to choose, the food was plentiful, fresh, and delicious, the decor was extremely pretty and charming, the atmosphere was calming and relaxing, and the service was right on the mark. All of us highly recommend this awesome tea room, and we can't wait to go back! |

Food: I attended a friend's bridal shower at Tea Rose Cottage this past Saturday. Everything was just amazing, the food was great, the service was outstanding and, to my surprise, I loved the tea! The music you softly hear in the background just sets the mood beautifully along with all the lovely decor, gorgeous table linens, and the beautiful variety of china on every table. Then there is the food. The food is amazing from the tea all the way to the sorbet at the end of the meal to cleanse your palet. Every little detail is perfectly thought out and one can tell how much thought and care is put into this beautiful tea room by the two lovely young ladies that own it. Food: Whilst on holiday from England visiting our daughter in Tampa, my husband, daughter and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon at this tearoom. The tearoom itself is very pretty (my husband remarked that it was 'more English than tearooms we have in England!') Both the tea and food we received was gorgeous, and the staff were both friendly and attentive. We are returning home soon, however, plan to come back next year to vist and we will enjoy visiting this wonderful tearoom again also! |

Food: My family knows how much I love going to tea and particularly how much I love going to tea at this tea room. I bring everyone I know here to tea and I've even been with people I've just met. This year for Christmas I was given a generous gift certificate from my family to attend tea here at Tea Rose Cottage and I am so excited. I now have an excuse to attend tea more frequently because I just couldn't let my certificate go to waste! I would be crazy to let that happen and miss out on all that delicious chicken salad. After reading all these wonderful reviews, it is so good to see that I am not the only one who is so in love with this tea room and hopes it is around forever, even after my gift certificate is long gone! Food: Myself along with a few of my girlfriends threw a joint bachelor /bachelortte party for our dear friends that are getting married January 31st 2009. We chose this tearoom for the ladies to come and have the girls night out package. We feasted on delicious desserts and strawberry tea while the bride to be opened her many gifts of lingerie. The men on the other hand enjoyed the evening smoking cigars and drinking beer at an Ybor cigar bar right down the street. After the tearoom we all met up in our limo and went dancing it was a fabulous evening and the perfect setting!! I would recommend this tearoom to anyone and everyone and to get creative like we did because it was definitely a night to remember! |

A few of the ladies that attended have never been to tea before and they are now officially hooked. Food: I found this tearoom by using this teamap.com and having read the reviews I was so excited to try it. I was everything but disappointed it totally stood up to all its good reviews. I was looking forward to the cranberry orange scones I read about but when I went they served cinnamon and brown sugar scones and they were so fabulous that I can’t even imagine how good the cranberry orange scones must be! And they were a perfect match to the Christmas tea I had. I will definitely be back I just wish I lived closer so I could go once a week! The list of teas to choose from is so extensive its not possible to try them all at one time so I have to go back to try more! I don’t think I could write a better review then all those that have preceded mine and they are surely well deserved! Food: I went to tea last week here at Tea Rose Cottage tea room and I really enjoyed it. I went with a close friend of mine and we had a great experience. It was a cool day out and we had hot pumpkin spice tea and warm cranberry orange scones which were so amazing I bought a few extra to take home. It was just a nice relaxing fall day. I left there stuffed and peaceful. The service here is so friendly and warm without being overwhelmingly pushy. I hope others go explore this tea room this fall, you won't be disappointed and I can't wait to go back! |
