I recently attended the tea house, the first time since last summer, I noticed that the service was much more effecient and the food was better and fresh. There scones as well as soups were very good. The server was very cheerful. I will be back!

I had a good time the last time I was here last summer. The food was great and the server was wonderful. This last time my daughter and I had a not so positive experience. The food is very similar to a diner now, not what I was expecting. The server was nice but the place has gotten dirty. Our lunch plates were dirty so we passed had our tea and left.

Nice place but our server TJ was not. Our server was forgetful and unattentive or maybe he just didn't care. By the emptyness of the place it seems like nobody there cared. You would think that if you are the only people in a place you would get better service. I will not be back, and I cannot recommend this place.

The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. The service was good. But the food was not so great. Presentation, quantity and taste were lacking compared to other tea houses in the area.

Although the atmosphere is charming and the prices are reasonable, I have found the service to be lacking and the food is hit or miss. It seems that everything is not made fresh everyday so you never know what will be stale and what will be fresh from visit to visit. I have found other tea rooms in the area to be more consistant in both service and freshness.

Living in Mason, I've been to Tea Roses several times for a variety of occasions. They REALLY know how to put on an event. A mother/daugher tea for about sixteen was delightful. The food is totally forgettable except for the egg salad with pistachios and home-baked scones. The tea is lovely and the presentation and atmosphere has been delightful every time I've gone. It's my favorite place to go for a nice afternoon tea, but there are other places with more delicious food for a full meal.

the building is historic, the entrance small with not alot of gifts available related to room, disappointed there related to other tea rooms I have been..busy day-Sat. but our room was not too bad for the # in the room, our party was small, server was forgetful-my friend asked 2X extra for ice and her hot drink-the food overall was good...the scones good/warmed, the tomato/herb soup wonderful, salad too limp, the sandwiches were bad-dry, bread dry-tuna very yeck, the second bite of a 3 sample yeck, and could not even go for the third.. however the desserts WONDERFUL. We had reserved so I expected it all to be fresh. Probably will not go back unless for desserts/tea.
