Variety:     Artistry:     Service:     Food: What a LOVELY experience, the atmosphere is perfect and the food, out of this world! The potato soup was one of the best I have every had and the scone was huge! The sandwiches were tasty as well. High Tea is a must, you get to taste a little of everything and will not leave hungry. Spread the word...Port Deposit is the place for Tea!!!

Variety:     Artistry:     Service:     Food: What a lovely tearoom! This is in an old stone building on Main Street, overlooking the river. The rooms are bright and pristine, with perfect table settings and decor (it's not a fussy place). We ordered the High Tea, which includes 3 courses plus the best Cream of Potato soup I have ever had. The pumpkin scone was quite large and tasty. There were three sandwiches: egg salad, cucumber, and chicken salad with bits of pineapple (surprisingly good!). My favorite of the three sweets was the little chocolate cupcake - so moist. There were plenty of loose teas to choose from, served in a large pot for each of us. The prices here are very reasonable. My only suggestion to this new tearoom is to offer a warm savory with the tea sandwiches to add variety to the bread selections. This is a great addition to the Maryland tearooms, and we'll definitely be back!
