Tea with an Accent, located in Yardley, Bucks County offers customers a delightful tea experience complete with delicious teas and tasty savories. Shari Titterton, a native of Britain, opened the establishment as a result of her passion for tea and elegantly prepared cuisine.
The lovely décor of the tearoom featuring fine china, silver cutlery, crisp table linen, fresh flowers and candles, reflects Ms. Titterton’s background as an interior designer. The combination of scrumptious fare and a charming atmosphere make this setting popular among groups such as Gardening Clubs, Red Hat and Historical Societies. Tea with an Accent can also provide off-site catering, either as a full-service package or one that simply includes food and a selection of teas. We specialize in Birthday parties, Bridal and Baby Showers.

Variety: I am trying to find another excuse to go back to Tea with an Accent! Its victorian decor, signature Lilly Delight Tea created by the owner Sheri, and the cute shop in the rear of the facility were top-notch! I felt so girly there...Thanks :) |

Variety: Our church had our first ever ladies tea at Tea With An Accent, and it was a wonderful experince. Shari and her staff are very gracious, and kind. The teas we had were delicious as were the rest of the items on the menu. The tea room is beautifully decorated and very fancy, but at the same time it's very homey and cozy. My experience at Tea With An Accent surpassed even what I was hoping for. After our tea we stayed way passed the time we were supposed to and Shari and her staff were accomodating and charming about it. =) We're looking forward to planning another ladies' tea with Shari and her staff at Tea With An Accent in the VERY near future. Thank you Shari for a very lovely experience. |

Variety: Dear Shari: I am writing to your customers, and potential ones as well. I have been a frequent visitor of Tea with an Accent, and my guests are always delighted! The Christmas Tea (along with your lovey Harpist), my niece's bridal shower, my own joyful lunches and now a pending bridal shower for my friend. You are the finest, most professional, personable, tender, loving owner I have ever met! Thank you for the time and effort you put forth for all of your clientele. We are treated as queens (and I've seen a few kings too). Our lives are so hectic, we rarely take time for ourselves. But when we do, Tea with an Accent is our home away from home. You are a blessing, dear Shari. Thank you for all that you and your staff do to make us feel special. Love you! |

Variety: My friend(s) and I visit Tea With an Accent a minimum of once a month and have been doing so for the past three years! Our favorite lunch is the Victorian Tea accompanied by Shari's own special house blend, 'Lily's Delight'. If you're new to the 'Tea experience', Shari is very accommodating in helping you make your selection and graciously offers you a second choice of tea if you're not completely satisfied (there are so many teas from which to choose). The soup, salad, sandwiches and scones are lovingly prepared, as are ALL the offerings on the menu. At our Women's Link High Tea last year (our 3rd High Tea), Shari gladly accommodated the vegetarians in our group as requested. Everyone had a marvelous time and looks forward to this annual event. Shari's personality, her attention to detail, and her love of what she does all combine to make you feel like a guest in her home rather than 'a customer'. Tea With an Accent is just what the doctor ordered for a lovely afternoon of R&R. Don't miss it! |

Variety: I'm so glad that I chose Tea With An Accent to host my 1st Tea. Everyone had a fabulous time. The special teas that Shari blended were excellent and the saviors and sweets were delicious. I've taken Tea at many different tea rooms and I highly recommend this tea room. I will definately be contacting Shari to make reservations to take Afternoon Tea in the very near future. |

Variety: Tea with an Accent is an exceptional tearoom. The atmosphere transforms you back into a chintz tearoom in England. The china and the teacups used are very proper and the food is equally excellent and pleasingly displayed. Thanks for a special time. |

Variety: Tea with an Accent has surpassed all of my expectations of a tea room. Not only is there a plethora of tea options available, but Shari also serves her own house blends, each more delicious than the next. The atmosphere is very calming and sweet, while the attention to detail is extrodinary. Let's talk about the food. I have never had a better scone in my life. Shari's baking is by far the best I have every experienced, and it is evident that much time and hard work is put into making each person's visit delightful. The staff is wonderful, attentive and you can see that they genuinley love where they work. Shari is very personable and truly makes your visit lovely. I without any hesitation highly recommend Tea with an Accent! Make your reservation today! |

Variety: I'm so glad that I chose Tea with an Accent to mark my 40th Birthday because it will be so memorable to me and my guests. Planning my Big day with Shari, the sweetest British lady, was the easiest. Shari is VERY accomodating, whether it's food restrictions or your personal decore tastes. It is obvious that a lot of love goes into her tea, food and its preparation. They are all DELICIOUS and addictive. I can't say enough about her scones, jam, clotted cream and her house blend, Lily's Delight!! The best part of having a day at Tea with an Accent, is Shari's personality, constant presence and attention to detail. To start High Tea she rings a bell and comes over to each table to explain the menu, the waitresses wear a glove, crystal flutes and real china are used, there are cloth covers o... (more) |

Variety: Thanks to Tea w/ an Accent I was able to give my wife a very successful, relaxed, delicious, afternoon birthday party for 20. The planning and coordination was stress free & the service was excellent. I really appreciated the small venue and the proprietor’s hands on approach. Not only did Shari make the experience, but without missing a beat, she handled my wife's special requests, like cooking with organic ingredients, providing a vegan alternative for some, and creating wrapped cookie party favors. The extra effort showed and the food was great; several of the guests were impressed and excited and tell us they will return or host events (that's the best recommendation I can think of). This was my first and only 'Tea room' experience, but I have to doubt if a stuffy hotel or an unfriendly hall, would provide this kind of comfortable service. Thank you, Shari (& helpers!); Well done! |

Thank you Shari for making this a very special day for my neice. One that she and all of our guests will remember. |

Variety: April 25, 2008 I not only wanted to write a review prior to my tea party, I knew I definitely had to after the party. I had a small tea party baby shower for my daughter who was about to have her 3rd baby. I wanted to honor this special occasion and I could not have picked a better place than tea with an accent. From my very first phone call to the very end of the party Shari the owner and hostess was not only extremely helpful and very organized, but also very nice and patient in offering me advice in choosing the menu... The food and deserts were absolutely delicious and the tea was great. Almost all of us bought tea and goodies to go and the gift shop had so many nice things to choose as favors for my guest. The atmosphere was top notch, clean, cozy, comfortable and intimate. I received several phone calls from my guest after the party who just loved TEA WITH AN ACCENT. It was a wonderful afternoon; I highly recommend SHARI AND TEA WITH AN ACCENT. I give it Five Stars. Karen C. |

Variety: What a special day! I hosted a Baby Shower for my girlfriend at Tea With An Accent. I can't say enough wonderful things about the service, food and atmosphere. Shari is an absolute pleasure to work with and her staff is incredibly sweet. Shari made this the easiest party I ever planned! I think each person at the shower made at least one comment about going back to Tea With An Accent on their own. |

Variety: I have been to the tea room several times...the food is delicious and Shari is very sweet & attentive. I have taken different friends and out of town guests for tea and we always enjoy ourselves. I have tried several other tea rooms in the area and none of them even come close to Tea with an Accent. I love the gift shop, too! |

Variety: We've been to visit Tea with an Accent several times. A few times just for the fun of it and then because my teenager's loved it so much we took a group of teenage girls for my daughter's 15th birthday. It was wonderful everytime and such a loverly way to spend family time. (Yes my tough and burly husband loved it also!) The scones are out of this world and we have been able to purchase extra to take home. Can't wait to go back! |

Variety: We had our yearly Christmas party and we were very happy with everything. Some of the invited guests were concerned about there not being enough food but there was ample food. It was beautifully presented and delicious. The girls who served us were delightful and we had a great time. Hope to be able to visit for lunch at a later time. Thanks for making our Christmas so special. |

Variety: I was there for their Traditional Holiday Tea with my family. It it the third year in a row that we have attended and each year is as good as the past, if not better. Shari is the most wonderful hostess and her staff are delightful and attentive to ones needs. As usual her attentioon to detail is amazing and the food and tea choices delectable and satisfying. Thanks once again for a truly wonderful experience. |

Variety: My friend and I took her two daughters, 4 and 3 in for a special day. The girls had a brilliant time and felt like little princesses. They were treated so wonderfully and we all had a great experience. The scones were the best I have ever had and the chicken salad on cinnamon bread was a surpirsing favoite. Next time I visit Yarley, I would love to stop in for this treat! |

Variety: I was there for lunch last Friday and had a delightful experience. Everything from the soup to the scones were delicious. I had the Chicken Salad Coissant - the best chicken salad ever. My favorite was one of their house teas - Simply Sarah named after the owner's daughter. Even though they were down a staff member due to illness, the service was efficient and all of our needs were met. Cannot wait to go back for their Afternoon Tea. |

Variety: The tea room is quaint and delicate, and the food is preapred quite nicely I love the salad), although the scones we had were not fully cooked and gooey in the middle. When we brought this to the owners attention she informed us this is how they are supposed to be cooked, which is not my experience at all. She was upset with us after mentioning it. She also couldn't provide cooked ones as she only prepares so many in advance. |

Tearoom Response
Ruth,I am afraid that I do not recall you speaking you me about the scones. When did you come to the tearoom. I would never have said that they are supposed to be gooey and we always have additional ones on hand. |

Variety: We held a baby shower in the end of March, and everything was just perfect. Shari was a dream to work with, making us feel completely comfortable and providing us with fantastic service. The tea and food were absolutely delicious (and I don't even like tea that much!), and we couldn't believe how smoothly everything went with the 30+ attendees we had. We highly recommend Tea with an Accent, and are looking forward to our next visit! |

Variety: I belong to a Red Hat group and 11 of us attended the High Tea today. It was lovely! We had never done anythng like this before and we were more than satisfied. The 2 teas offered were wonderful and we enjoyed them thoroughly. All the food was fresh and delicious. The tea and soup were hot and you didn't have to look around for refills. Someone was always there to fill your cup without asking. The tables were set just so. Abolutely adorable! We definitely will be coming back again! If you're unsure, definitely pick this one. |

Variety: I was at Tea with an Accent this weekend because a friend of mine had her Bridal Shower there. It was amazing. I have never seen such attention to detail. The food was amazing and service fast and friendly. A friend of mine could not have any food with wheat or gluten and Shari the owner had not been told about this. Within minutes she had not only whipped together a delicious salad but also dessert. Thank you for a great time. |

Variety: We recently had a Bridal Shower at Tea With An Accent and it was a magical day for all of the attendees, especially the Bride to Be. When she arrived, truly surprised, it was Shari, the gracious owner, who gave her a place to freshen up and get comfortable before greeting her friends. Shari's sensitivity and attention to detail is unparalleled. She walked us through the entire process. Her expertise on every detail gave us peace of mind and allowed everyone to enjoy the event. |
