Overview
Tea with Friends specializes in special memories. We transform your setting into a beautiful tea room. We bring pristine antique table linens, use only the finest antique china, and of course serve only the freshest and most delicious foods. We provide fresh flowers for your tables, victorian style menu cards, and custom made place cards. We offer a wide variety of tea's for you to choose from, which are properly steeped in the english manner. The staff are always attentave to you and your guests every need and pay close attention to every detail. A personal on-site party consultation is provided so your needs and party expectations are met with ease. We stive in making your special ocassion something you can enjoy with relaxed confidence, so you can spend time with your guests, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Food: Thank you so much for all you and your staff did to make our shower over the top wonderful! We had a great time and the food was delicious. My mother, sisters and two daughters were all in attendance and they have continued to sing your praises. As you know, we are in the wedding business and I understand how difficult it is to produce a perfect event- but I believe you did it! You were so very kind from start to finish, and though we live in the Santa Rosa area, we will look for excuses to make our way back to the east bay for your delightful services to eat, relax and be with friends and family. Food: Joanne and her staff did a fantastic job with catering my daughters baby shower. Every detail was met, from the special party favors to the custom menu we planned. Every item on our menu was fresh and delicious and a work of art to look at. Joanne even threw in a special item to the menu to balance the flavors and choices we had. We choose 3 tea's from her selection which were all wonderful. One of them was a dessert tea which I especially liked. The tables were beautiful with layers of antique linens and beautiful but simple flower arrangements. Everyone had a unique demitasse spoon and mis-matched china that complemented the other. Her serving and kitchen staff were very professional and made every one my guests feel special. This is an event which we will remember and talk about for a long time.. Food: I just recently threw a shower that Tea with Friends catered and it was absolutely wonderful! I have never given a baby shower before and I wanted everything to be perfect and it definitely was. I stressed out over giving this shower and the owner Joanne helped me with all my questions and concerns and put up with my craziness and for that I thank her very much! I looked at several tea rooms in the area and decided that having at tea in my own garden would be perfect for my event and by far the most accommodating in every way. Food: I had the honor and priviledge of hosting a bridal shower for my best friend as her matron of honor. We had gone to a tea which was catered by Tea with Friends last fall, and the bride talked to the owner for close to 30 minutes about her beautiful service. So when it came time to plan her shower, what better way to celebrate with her, her family and friends then to host a bridal tea for her. Everything was perfect!!! Food: Recently my neighborhood women's group had a catered high tea and it was the most delightful experience. The tea selections were large but not overwhelming and the staff was so knowledge able about all of them. The food was amazing and the attention to detail in each tea sandwich was something you don't find in just any tearoom. I was also really impressed with all the beautiful dishes and linens they used. I would also like to note that our servers were very attentive to us and made everyone feel special. I would encourage everyone to try Tea with Friends. We will defiantly use them again! |

Food: I lived in England five years and never had tea this good! The entire experience was awesome. The food is excellent. The variety of teas was astounding - I even found a new favorite! The service is top notch. There are not enough superlatives to describe this Tea service. The owner brings everything need for the tea. Her china is beautiful and each piece is unique. Every table is a little different. Everyone just enjoyed looking at the tables when we arrived. I cannot wait to host a party of my own for my friends and family. They will be in awe! |

Food: Joanne & her amazing staff made my sister's bridal shower a day to remember. Not only was Joanne a pleasure to work with in setting up the event, her staff were equally pleasant the day of the event. She catered to a few special requests we had and threw in a few 'extras' (lemonade for a young guest, iced tea due to the heat, etc...) as a courtesy which we GREATLY appreciated. The food was fantastic, the tea was delicious (and it was 100 degrees outside for our event!) and the clean up was spot on. This service actually allowed my sister and I (hosts) the chance to enjoy in this day with our special bride. We didn't have to lift a finger. Several guests wanted more information about the service for their future events. I would love to have Joanne and her fabulous professional staff back for future events! Food: A good friend of mine had a tea for our ladies group.It was outstanding, the group could not sing enough praises; they were elated. The table setting was beautiful. The tea,sandwiches and desserts were delicious and presented very professionally. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure everyone was satisfied. Food: joanne and her helper made my bridal shower enchanting! I always dreamed of having a formal tea for my bridal shower, and when my mom showed me their website I knew this would be perfect! The tables were beautiful and had so many special touches. Joanne even helped me with figuring out our party favors and coordinated everything for me. The food and tea was wonderful and plentiful. Food: My girlfriends and I like to try to go to tea once an month. Trying new tea rooms is our passion. A while back, one of my friends decided to have a tea at her home and try Tea with Friends. We were all very impressed with this service. The tea selection was very good and the owner, Joanne knew a lot about each tea. We created our own menu from a large list of selections. The food was very delicious and presentation was beautiful. Serving staff was very attentive and friendly too. Joanne pays attention to every detail which makes you feel special. Food: I attended at tea at my daughters school in celebration of Mothers Day. My daughters and I had such a wonderful time. The tables were astonishing. The most beautiful tables linens, dishes and flowers. I was especially suprised by the pretty little cards that my daughters made for me for Mother's Day. The food was fantasitc. Food: I am having a hard time putting my tea party experience in to words..it was an absolute dream. Tea with Friends helped my brother and I give our mom a surprise 60th party and it was more than we could have imagined! From the tea cups to the silver and the linens, to the place cards and menus, the tables were dressed to perfection. Joanne and her staff were so attentive and kind, we felt like royalty. The tea itself was delicious, perfection (all of them to the last cup). I thought the hot towels for your hands in the beginning were a great touch and the darling individual tea pots filled with pink lemonade for each of our three child guests (ages 3, 4 & 5) were very thoughtful and made them feel very special. Food: This was the first tea I have ever been to. I didn't know what to expect, but when I arrived at the shower I was in total awe! Everything was so fancy and elegant (I actually felt a wave of giddiness and excitemtnt). When the tea began our server, Stephanie, brought us water then pampered us with hot towels for our hands. Then we had a choice of 3 teas, I choose the Vanilla initially, but then swiched to the Queens Tea. The scones were wonderful. Food: With 5 daughters, this is a gem of a find. After reading all of the reviews I decided to give them a call to plan a baby shower. The owner Joanne was very nice and helped me with every detail, and even gave me some fresh ideas about what to do at a baby shower (instead of your typical games). The shower went off without a hitch. We all enjoyed the feeling of being pampered. The tables were absoutly beautiful and the food was plentiful and quite delicious. Food: Over the weekend I attended a bridal shower tea which Tea With Friends catered. The room was beautiful with all the pretty set tables, and a center table with a pretty crystal water dispenser, filled with crushed ice, strawberries, and slices of lemons, so guests could help themselves before they were seated. There were beautiful placecards at each place setting and menu cards on each table. Food: Having Joanne cater my tea was the easiest and best little event I have ever had at my home. I threw a simple ladies tea for 12 of my dearest friends. We all had such a wonderful time visiting and sharing photos and gifts. Joanne took care of all the details so I could really enjoy myself. Her food was scrumptious. We had the Ladies Afternoon Tea. The scones were tender and rich and I just adored the Harvest Chicken Sandwiches. Our dessert was a lovely slice of New York Cheesecake with raspberries and an amazing dark chocolate sculpture. Food: I have to give Tea With Friends a glowing review. I had them cater a tea at my home in celebration of my daughters engagement. The owner, Joanne, was very nice and with such ease, she transformed my space into a beautiful tea setting. On the day of the tea, she arrived at my home with a van full of beautiful china, linens and tasty food. She brought beautiful fresh flowers for my tables and helped me set out favors for my guests. Food: My daughter Lily and I attended a Baby Shower tea done by Tea with Friends. This was our first tea, and we had such a fun time. The food and tea was delicious. My daughter who is 8, was given her own little tea pot filled with lemonade. We had such a fun afternoon at the shower, having tea and visiting with other guests. We felt so special and lady-like. Food: I attended a 50th birthday tea for my good friend Alice. This was so elegant! The tea and goodies were excelent! They made the most delicious egg salad sandwiches which were served open faced with edible violets as a garnish. Her scones were the best I have ever had. They were very rich and tender, and were served with delicious spreads. The china was beautiful, and the serving staff very professional. I will indeed use them the next time I want to have a special gathering at my home. |
