Since this is a pretty large chain, the selection is just alright. Nothing special or exciting. There are better tea shops in Chinatown

I really don't know who is going to read this review. If you are a fan of Tea Gallery, Fang's, or Luh Yu, please don't bother. For everybody else, welcome to the wonderful world of Chinese teas.

Bubble tea is not just bubble tea. When it comes to bubble tea, Ten Ren is the place to go, hands down. My son loves their almond and refuses to drink it anywhere else in New York City, Chinatown. My favorite is the taro.

Very nice, bright, clean and well presented with a large selection, however, the clerk didn't know of a special being offered on the internet.

The TenRen chain from Taiwan is known for its consistent quality and standards for tea. I highly recommend after your stop at TenRen's Tea Cafe at 75 Mott Street you walk two doors down to 79 Mott Street to TenRen's tea shop. This is what TenRen is known for worldwide.

Everyone I have asked about getting Bubble Tea in chinatown told me I had to go to Ten Ren's. And wow were they right. On past visits I had just bought it at random bakeries, but this time I made it a point to get it at Ten Ren's and it was the best Bubble Tea I have ever had. Also a Nice clean atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

I had always wanted to visit the famed Ten-Ren tea cafe. I was taken back as I guess I expected a shop with lots of atmosphere. Instead they don't waste money or attention to that, they channel it all into the 'tea'. Like a previous reviewer, I appreciated the attention to proper brewing temperature. The proof is in the cuppa as they say. It was worth the trip and I would sacrifice atmosphere for excellent tea anyday.
