Variety: We brought a group of 24 people and in a later survey of this group, the tea room received an average score of 4.6, on a scale of 1-5. What impressed most of us was not only the owner Peg, but also all the staff who were so friendly, as well as efficient. We were seated 4 to a table and every course had 4 of each selection. We would recommend this to all tearoom lover's |

Variety: Came here with two girlfriends who never went to afternoon tea. It was definitely a nice kick-off to our girls-only weekend. The owner ofthe tearoom was soooo friendly and warm when she greeted us and was sure to check up on us throughout our tea. Our server was also very polite and efficient. It's a very traditional, cute, lace and roses type of tearoom. You get to pick your own teapot. We all chose the afternoon tea with soup. Two of us tried the chilled peach and it hit the spot on that hot afternoon! The food and pastries were very good, and my two girlfriends were very pleased and surprised at how full they became after some soup, sweets, scone, and finger sandwiches! The only thing I have to say is that I wish they had a wider selection of tea, I also love when tea... (more) |

Variety: I visted the tea room on a Mom's Weekend away with some girlfriends. We had such a nice time relaxing, chatting, and admiring all of the lovely tea pots. Our favorite feature was that each guest gets to choose which teapot their tea will be served in. We had so much fun matching teapots to fit our personalities. Pat was delightful and warm and very welcoming. Afterwards every time we saw a pretty butterfly object for sale in one of the shops we went in we would say, 'Oh, this would be perfect for the Butterfly Tearoom!' Definately an afternoon we will remember. |

Variety: My sister and I visited this tea room on Valentine's weekend. What a wonderful time we shared. From the moment you enter you find a relaxed atmosphere with lovely decorated tables and comfortable seats!! There are several items on the menu and a variety of teas to select from. Our server was very knowledgable and helpful in selecting our tea choice. The owner Peg, was a delight to talk with and truly made you feel welcome, and we loved her idea of choosing our own tea pot from the china closets to enjoy during our tea. Since this was Valentine weekend there were x-tra's to enjoy like chocolate fruit and and a drawling for a gift. I was the lucky winner!! Our tea sandwiches and all the sweets were very good. Thanks Peg, and we hope to see you again and enjoy another lovely afternoon. Thank you again. |

Variety: An awesome time was had by my childhood/high school friends. The five of us are planning a third trip to Cape May this year and we will defiitely include this terrific Tea Room. I've been to many others in PA and this one tops the list - the owner Peg is a delight to talk with and her staff is most courteous. So, we'll be back!! Variety: This tea room will certainly be a stop for me every year when I vacation at the Jersey shore. My husband and I loved the idea of choosing our teapots and really enjoyed the delicious scones and creams. The staff was very efficient and friendly and we hope to continue our visits there for many years to come. |

Variety: I've been coming to this tea room since it first opened. Can't help it, I'm hooked. Peg, the owner, now serves a breakfast tea in addition to all the afternoon tea services. Her menu has enough variety so that all appetites are catered to. You select your teapot from her cabinets, select your tea flavor, and sit back and relax. The servers are attentive and the ambiance and decor are a delight. During the busy tourist season, as with all popular tea rooms, it's wise to make a reservation. |

Variety: We were disappointed. We've been spoiled I guess, judging from the other reviews. I didn't find it cozy or inviting. The food wasn't much and too expensive. Our tea was not kept warm. The staff lacked charm. Sorry, but this one has been crossed off our list. |
