Food: We love having tea here. We go every time we visit CO. The castle setting is extraordinary. There isn't a large tea selection, but the food is good. It is a proper English tea. I think everyone should experience tea at Glen Eyrie at least once. |

Food: The venue is simply gorgeous, and the tour of the castle grounds is very interesting. The tea room itself is also lovely. However the Afternoon Tea leaves something to be desired. I've been there twice. The first time I was seated in the tea room, and after being served, the waitress never came back. The scones are completely to die for, and the tea is also delicious (so much so that I purchased some from the gift shop). However, you are only offered two -- a black tea and an herbal tea -- and everyone gets the same two. The rest of the goodies were skimpy and, sorry, but almost stale. The next time I went, the Afternoon Tea was so overbooked that not only were we not seated in the tea room, but we were two whole rooms away, in some dark paneled place, and our table was right next to...
