This tearoom changed hands over a year ago and is now called 'Ivy Garden Tea Room'. It is still a nice place to take tea.

This tearoom is in my own town and I so want it to succeed. Alas, the quality of food is not great. It does not measure up to many of the other tea rooms in Oregon where I have been. I had lunch there and it was quite ordinary and not worth the price. I was very disapointed. They need to upgrade the food. The tea was Ok as I remember, maybe better than OK. I make great tea at home so want both tea and food to be excellent.

I am so sad, Charms of Tea is no longer. It is now Ivy Garden, also a tea romm, but it does not offer the same amazing scones that Charms of Tea did. The atmosphere of Ivy Garden is good as well as the sandwiches, but I miss my scones!!!!!!!!! Ivy Garden is open for tea Friday and Saturday.

I was here several years ago was was very unimpressed, however, I decided to give this tea room one more chance and I'm thrilled that I did! I don't know whether it's changed hands or not but the lady who served us was wonderful, the food delicious, and the environment was cozy and relaxing even on a hot day. I definitely recommend The Charms of Tea.

A cute modern tea room. Small but cozy. Food was unusual and flavorful with marvelous scones.

I have had tea at this business several times now and I love it. The service has been great and the atmosphere is wonderful. I even took my teenage son to tea with me on Saturday, against his will, and he ended up loving it! He said, 'Mom, I don't care if my friends see me here or not. Anytime you want to bring me here would be great!' He also asked for a couple of ounces of the apricot tea to take home and brew. The other thing I like about this tea house is that they play old timey music like Billie Holiday!

Two (or more) friends and I meet once a month at Charms of Tea. It is a lovely family run business. We enjoy the atmosphere and the food and tea are delicious.

I brought 2 friends here for a birthday celebration in June 2006 and we were so impressed with the variety of teas, the excellent food, and the friendly service, that we now meet here once a month to sample new teas and enjoy the fare. I've found each visit to be a treat for my tastebuds.

just a little fyi, they make the scones when you order them so they're hot and delicious when they come to you...

your opinion about the service is your own buisness, but in my experience the women serving have been sweet, friendly, funny, and lovely... even once when three people I was with sent back our soup because it was a bit chilly.

I'm surpirsed at the previous review. Although I found the lady upfront (who ran the gift shop) to be very pleasant, I found the woman who served us to be incredibly loud and crass. She might has well been pumping my gas. They had no scones ready and she had to make them which took a very long time. They were also very soft and fell apart almost immediatly. It all seems very unprofessional.

I do love this place. The food is nothing short of amazing, the soups, the sandwiches, the SCONES, the tea, everything is wonderful. The owners are SO sweet. It's a lovely place to go!
