Food: This place is a gem in Central Kentucky! Good food, excellent service, and warm and friendly atmosphere. The tearoom itself is absolutely charming, and the owner went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful tea experience. Very accommodating in terms of menu. The tearoom offers lunches as well as afternoon tea (by reservation). We were fortunate enough to have a private room all to ourselves, and felt completely pampered by the excellent service and delightful cuisine. Only a short distance from Lexington, The Colonel's Lady is well worth the drive. It exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend a visit. |

Food: Cannot say enough good things about this tearoom! My sister and I treated ourselves to tea there this past Friday and had a wonderful, relaxing experience. The tea was perfectly brewed and cheerfully refilled before we could even request it. The scones, soup, and sandwiches were all freshly prepared, and we had our choice of the tempting desserts of the day. Although the tearoom was bustling when we arrived the owner/chef came out personally to welcome us, and returned several times during the meal to make sure everything was to our liking. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable and the whole experience was one we can't wait to repeat! |
