The tea sandwiches were delicious, the tea wasn't prepared with a timer and there wasn't a great selection of teas. That being said, the sandwiches were the best I've had in the area. A totally fabulous experience despite the negatives.

The Drawing Room is unique in a way that is seldom found in a mass-market world. The owners have gone a long way toward putting their stamp on their teashop and boutique, and every last detail has been considered. The teas are phenomenal - I especially like Black Mango and White Melon. Their food selections are also enjoyable - try all of the tea sandwiches, especially the chicken salad.
If you have a few minutes afterwards, the boutique is well worth a browse.

After my NYC to CT move I frantically searched for a 'real' coffee, tea and espresso place to adopt. Luckily, I only had to endure two mornings of Starbucks before finding this hidden gem of a teahouse right in the middle of Greenwich. A perfect espresso and a great selection of teas, my favorite being their ginger citrus peach green tea. Don't miss out on the carrot cake or the ginger scones, especially right as they come out of the oven.
A casual yet sophisticated elegance touches every detail from the tea and food presentation, the colors and details of the decor, to the friendliness of the owners. I am partial to the chicken salad and my husband swears by their soups. I could sit for hours inside the cozy beautiful space but look forward to the opening of the porch in the n... (more)ext few weeks. Only complaint is that they aren't open for Sunday brunch.
An added bonus is the wonderful boutique right next door that is chic, fun, and surprisingly cutting edge from what I expected. No needlepoint or items plastered with Labradors anywhere! Hillary will make you smile immediately and steer you in the right direction for the perfect pieces of furniture or art for your *new* home. They also carry designer jewelry, chandeliers, gorgeous pillows, candles, etc etc etc. The boutique has served as a great inspiration for us and the witty redhead's friendly, fun but low-pressure attitude makes a visit after tea (and my husband's perfect espresso) a true pleasure.

The Drawing Room is one of the best kept secrets in the area...its own little getaway to the South of France. They carry exceptional teas..Hot Mama and Waves of Joy are my favorites. And yes, the egg salad is exceptional. It's so refreshing to be in a place that has real character, artistry, and vision beyond the mainstream.

Outstanding! A real hidden gem. Love the space and the food is divine! Great destination spot - they even have a boutique in back. Can't wait for the patio to open in spring. This place is my new favorite.

I love this tea room. The service is so friendly, the food is excellent, and the place is charming. My only complaint is they are closed Mondays!
