The owner is charming, and her stories are fun.

But it was the food which impressed me. I've had high tea at the Savoy in London several times - it was no better and not nearly as friendly as the Dusty Rose!

What a fun find! My sister and I had such a good time in this little shop. I particularly liked the cuke sandwich and orzo salad.... although that walnut cookie was pretty tasty too. Thanks ladies!

This is a wonderful tea room. The service is so personal and considerate as if there are no other customers. The food is prepared fresh daily and is absolutely delicious with no exceptions. The owner and her staff are great people. My friends and I find it to be our favorite place in Colorado

My husband set a special afternoon up for my birthday with some special friends and my daughter at the Dusty Rose Tea Room. We had the best time! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful, the service is top notch..... I would recommend this to anyone who would like a one of a kind experience. Very special!

Girl's Day Out on a beautiful Sunday in August was a wonderful treat at the Dusty Rose Tea Room in Georgetown. Jeannette's home baked items were excellent, especially the meat pie. The food and tea though, are only half of the fun. We also enjoyed stories about historic Georgetown and the tea room. The service and attention we received were 1st class, and I highly recommend The Dusty Rose Tea Room.

My mother brought my here for my 40th birthday. We had the best time! There are so many things that make Dusty Rose unique. I don't want to give it away but you should go!

What an amazing experience! My wife and I went to the Dusty Rose Tea Room in search of a fun and unique experience and that's exactly what we found! What a wonderful little tea room nestled in what was once called (1860's) the International Hotel in historic Georgetown, CO. Seated at an intimate table for 2 with all the place settings, vintage hats and fine bone china we felt we were stepping back in time to the Victorian Era. The ambiance truly set the mood for an enchanting experiencing of High Tea. The friendly, gracious and knowledgeable staff helped us choose our teas from over 30 available -- I personally recommend the Russian Chai. From the delicious potato soup, through the cucumber sandwiches to the sweets and savories the quality was incredible! We very highly recommend this as a 'must do' when in Georgetown, CO!

We had a lovely tea at the Dusty Rose with our four children, ages 17 months to 9 years. The décor was lovely and charming, as was the service. The food was excellent -- they served the best cucumber sandwich I've ever had. The owner was very welcoming to our children. She did not flinch at allowing them to drink from the china, and she included lots of special touches just for them. My children love elegant tea parties, and we had a wonderful afternoon together as a family.

This little spot is worth the drive from Denver. The food is wonderful and all homemade. I love the look of the place and the owner is always so inviting with her tales of the tea room. It is always a special treat to visit here. Can't wait to go back.

Enjoying the experience of High
Tea was a first for me. With dear friends, we were hampered Victorian style, with delicious teas, dainty foods, both sweet and savory! A story, told by owner, Jeannette, about the history of some of the homemade food served at this tea room, was enjoyed by all. This will be a nice place to keep in mind, to enjoy with friends in the future!

We found this place while on adventure. It was by far the most fun we had. The price was great, Lemon bar DELICIOUS, huge selection of tea, and the service was so friendly. Thank you for giving us such a memorable experience. I can't stop talking about it.

I visited the Dusty Rose Tea Room yesterday with 24 lady friends for a Victorian High Tea. The experience was superb and I can't stop telling everyone about it. The moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by Jeannette who showed us inside the tea room. Our group was gathered for a complimentary old time photograph which we received during our tea. What a pleasant surprise that was. A fabulous selection of teas was served in charming teapots set in lovely tea cozies. The description of the teas were printed on a tea offering menu which included our organizations name and the date. Another surprise! One of the selections was their signature tea, the Georgetown berry medley that included berries native to the Georgetown area. Then came the decadent food, all made from scratch I m... (more)

The owner was very condescending. I brought my mother and friend and we felt as if we were intruding. The tea selection was amazing. The food was pretty much the same as every other tea room I've ever been to. For the price, I have had better...

One of the best teas I've been too! Everything from the food to the decor to the hostess was just lovely. Loved the hats and the photo of my friend and I was an excellent touch to the experience. Loved hearing about the 2 historic foods on the menu and the stories behind the postcards on the tables. Would love to return again but unfortunately it is a long trip from Connecticut!

We loved it here! My husband got the Fly fisherman's brew and really raved about it. I enjoyed Bridger Mtn., but did try his as well.... Presentation was delightful, and food was delicious. I liked hearing the local background.

This is a tea room that both my husband and I enjoy for a delicious and relaxing lunch. His favorite is the potato soup, while I am partial to the meat pastry or the spinach and bacon tartlets. For tea, I definitely recommend the Bridger Mountain Brew. How can you go wrong with a tea that contains chocolate, caramel, and pecans? A wonderful place to stop, relax, and enjoy!

What a wonderful experience to have high-Tea at the Dusty Rose. We found it by accident but since our first visit, we have taken every out of town visitor and they have all loved it. The food is top quality, and the atmosphere in the old mining town of Georgetown is charming.
