Overview

Georgetown has only one Tea Room. We have recently changed our name to The Dusty Rose Tea Room. We are located on Rose Street, dusty rose is a Victorian color, and roses are frequently used in Victorian stationery and decor. We think this is a very fitting name - let us know what you think!

We are located in the same 1875 historic building and continue to serve home made food, 30 different teas (including our own signature tea which incorporates the berries that grow wild in Georgetown with an organic black tea), and dress up for our High Teas!

We have expanded our menu to include more lunch items. Please visit our website for the new items.

We thank everyone who took the time to make a comment on this website to make us No. 1 in Colorado! Thank you!

I visited the Dusty Rose Tea Room yesterday with 24 lady friends for a Victorian High Tea. The experience was superb and I can't stop telling everyone about it. The moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by Jeannette who showed us inside the tea room. Our group was gathered for a complimentary old time photograph which we received during our tea. What a pleasant surprise that was. A fabulous selection of teas was served in charming teapots set in lovely tea cozies. The description of the teas were printed on a tea offering menu which included our organizations name and the date. Another surprise! One of the selections was their signature tea, the Georgetown berry medley that included berries native to the Georgetown area. Then came the decadent food, all made from scratch I m... (more)

The owner was very condescending. I brought my mother and friend and we felt as if we were intruding. The tea selection was amazing. The food was pretty much the same as every other tea room I've ever been to. For the price, I have had better...

One of the best teas I've been too! Everything from the food to the decor to the hostess was just lovely. Loved the hats and the photo of my friend and I was an excellent touch to the experience. Loved hearing about the 2 historic foods on the menu and the stories behind the postcards on the tables. Would love to return again but unfortunately it is a long trip from Connecticut!

My husband and I have been here many times and enjoyed it every time we came. We especially enjoy the potato soup! The Dusty Rose Tea Room is an oasis in a beautiful little town!

We loved it here! My husband got the Fly fisherman's brew and really raved about it. I enjoyed Bridger Mtn., but did try his as well.... Presentation was delightful, and food was delicious. I liked hearing the local background.

This is a tea room that both my husband and I enjoy for a delicious and relaxing lunch. His favorite is the potato soup, while I am partial to the meat pastry or the spinach and bacon tartlets. For tea, I definitely recommend the Bridger Mountain Brew. How can you go wrong with a tea that contains chocolate, caramel, and pecans? A wonderful place to stop, relax, and enjoy!

What a wonderful experience to have high-Tea at the Dusty Rose. We found it by accident but since our first visit, we have taken every out of town visitor and they have all loved it. The food is top quality, and the atmosphere in the old mining town of Georgetown is charming.

This teashop is a wonderful oasis of calm and taste. The welcome was extremely warm and nothing was too much trouble.

My friend and I decided to have our lunch here. The selection of teas (whole leaf) was very long; we both settled on the house tea made with berries that grow locally and an excellent black tea. The food was very rich. The lemon scones and chocolate tart are highly recommended. I don't care for cucumbers but the cucumber sandwiches did taste good. The room is charming Victorian. You can select your own teacup from the many available. Service was very personal.

Several friends and I enjoyed high tea at the Dusty Rose Tea Room. The Victorian decor is perfect for Georgetown. I have visited many, many tea rooms in CO and the Dusty Rose is by far my favorite!
