Food: It was really nice Tea Room and I would recommend this Tea Room to anybody that would like to go there. If you don't you're missing a blessing. When I went there on the 18th of May. I took part with them on their devotional time. You don't see much businesses doing that these days. |

Food: The decor was delightful shabby chic, complete with crystal chandeliers, chair rails, lots of lace and a fireplace all in white - truly a wonderful tearoom atmosphere. However, if you visit Garden Gate in the summer, wear lightweight clothing. It was hotter than all get-out, which made the idea of drinking hot tea somewhat less appealing. They did offer a variety of iced teas, but I wanted to try the Kyoto Cherry Rose hot tea (I think that's what it was called). The tea selection was okay, but I've seen better. Little known secret - they DO have the full afternoon tea, but for whatever insane reason, the only mention of it on the menu is at the top, citing the hours for Afternoon Tea are 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. (reservations preferred).
