The GGS Hat & Gloves Tea Room

I recently enjoyed a lovely High English 'Tea for Two' at Geri's GGS Hat & Gloves Tea Room. Geri lovingly serves her guests the exquisite Queen's Tea and delicious local sweet and savory treats. Her quaint Tea Room is beaultifully appointed. My friend and I felt as if we were transported to the English countryside in the Victorian Era. I highly recommed Tea Time with Geri!

My daughter and I had a very lovely experience at GG's! We loved our intimate table, delicious desserts including a choc fudge shortbread, talking about our families with friendly Geri, and choosing our fancy hats and gloves. Gil was a great host also. We loved our afternoon!

From the moment my friend, Marcia, and I met Geri, the Tea Lady, we felt the warmth and fun our tea time would become. We wore our special tea hat and gloves and learned how to properly stir our delicious 'The Queens Tea'. Every meal course from the homemade scones and jam to the delightful strawberry cupcake was delicious. We enjoyed Geri's storytelling about the history of the decor displayed in her house. Geri is a gracious hostess and Tea Lady and would recommend GGS Hat & Gloves Tea Room to everyone who wants to feel like you are living in that moment and time. We left that day with our bags of The Queens Tea and a birthday experience we won't forget. We look forward to our return visit. Thank you Geri (and Gill)

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my visit to The GGS Hat and Gloves Tea Room. From the moment I walked in I felt welcome, and Geri is such a great hostess. She really went out of her way to make sure that I enjoyed my experience. Each of the five courses were so fresh and delicious, I was able to try a variety of new things from other local businesses and everything was fantastic. The Queen's tea she serves is so nice, I'm not even much of a tea drink and I had three cups! I would definitely recommend booking an event with Geri, she will personalize your experience to ensure that you have a great time, and the farm is beautiful. I have to go back in the Spring to see everything in bloom and try other seasonal dishes I didn't try at my last visit! I hope to return very soon!

Geri the tealady is a lovely hostess & takes pride in all she does. This quaint farmhouse is the perfect setting to experience a High English Tea. The food & pastries are delicious! Highly recommend making an appointment.

I have had the opportunity on two occasions to enjoy the pure pleasure of what a real High English Tea is. Never having done this before I was truly impressed with everything that took place. From the welcome greeting to being seated at an elegant table setting of bone china, with delectable food. During our visit we were taught how to really enjoy tea by slowly sipping it, along with good conversation, in between bites of finely prepared dishes that left one completely satisfied. The host made such an impression that I would highly recommend the experience. ~ LAUREL

I absolutley loved my experience at the GG's Hat and Glove Tea Room. From the rolling hills and green pastures, to the old farm house decorated Victorian style, every detail is considered making this an excellent choice to spend an afternoon

I particularly enjoyed the beautiful china that is different and not a matched set. The scones nice and warm. The jam, clotted cream and lemon curd to adorn the 3 hat shaped scones were delicious, The tea sandwich oh so good. Everyone loves a gift shop ~ The Tea Time Trinkets Gift Shop is lovely. I would just like to say that I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with the ENTIRE experience... I recently had a Tea Party at The GGS Hat & Gloves Tea Room held by Geri The Tea Lady and she did an AMAZING job at hosting a lovely event. Also, I am not a person who enjoys Tea & I REALLY Enjoyed the tea served.

My best friend and a friend/co-worker of mine had a very enjoyable day at Geri & Gil's tea room. It was wonderful to be treated like royalty and to learn things about a high tea that I never even knew. It was a fun day to share with friends and we will again patronize your beautiful tea room Geri. It was great to get together and the time just flew by, tasting and enjoying all the food and the wonderful tea. I've had several cups as I enjoyed it fully. My best friend, Sue did nothing but tell me on the way home, just how much she enjoyed the tea and how sweet and friendly of a hostess you were. She had a great time as well. We'll be back!..... I didn't know what to expect being my first tea room experience, but this was so beautiful and a great thing to get together with a few good friends and do! The room was set up so beautifully and Geri the tea lady was a great host! Food was amazing!!

We enjoyed the High English Tea Time experience with Geri! She was the 'hostess with the mostess!' I especially enjoyed the chicken salad!
I purchased some of the tea and plan on having it at home with my mom!
