I throughly enjoyed my visit to this tea room. I did not know it with the previous owner. but I can't imagine it any better. Thank you for a very nice lunch.

The Glass Pheasant is the best place for lunch in the area. The food and service are impeccable. I have been going there for lunch for about 3 years and have gotten nothing but great lunches! They seem to keep getting better. I spoke with the chef last time we were there. He was kind and considerate and even sent us a free cup of soup. (Gazpacho....to die for!!) Keep up the good work!!

I began going to The Glass Pheasant about 13 years ago. It was a delightful experience every time. However, it has drastically gone down in quality since it was sold. The only things that have remained the same are the lemon tarts. The Plowman lunch is the same, but can fruit and cheese really be destroyed? The tea room has lost the English tea room flare it had and has become more of a cafe. Rose and Kris, the two British women that worked there (didn't own) are sorely missed. Also, there is not a grand selection of teas like there use to be. The teas they do have are everyday teas that can be bought in the grocery store just at an increased price.

The Glass Pheasant has come a long way since a new owner took over. The food is delicious & they even offer dinner on the weekends now. The girls that work there are all very pleasant. A tearoom dining experience that I highly recommend. Try the sherried crab soup & the chicken salad - divine!!!
