What a gem! This is a wonderful downtown oasis! EXCELLENT teas, friendly and knowledgeable staff and comfortable surroundings. Who could ask for more? Try the herbal blends like Hilo Cocktail, Summer Breeze and Frutopia. Dr. Feelgood is excellent and really lives up to its name as does Healing Garden. A wonderful place to enjoy the perfect cup of tea along with great company. Also get on the mailing list for special events and updates.

Hooker Tea is like a visit to a sanctuary every time I go. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I'm addicted not only to the great teas - the variety meets my every mood - but to the shop and shop keepers. Great music, attentive service, and a unique place to relax and take a deep breath every time I visit.

A cozy tea cafe with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Hooker's Tea Co offers an eclectic variety of fine teas & herbal teas. I am particularly fond of their Ginseng Oolong (tell them to keep the noodles). And for a true epicurean delight don't miss Rita's breakfast menu offered only on weekend mornings.

I love The Hooker Teas COmpany! I started really drinking tea last year and this place has taken the time to teach me all I need to know about the different teas and brewing. They have very knowledgable staff and I really love the the fact that they work with and support our local businesses. i.e. Whimsodoodle.

I love Hooker Tea! The atmosphere inside is relaxing -- almost spa-like -- and you have the choice of sitting outside with a view of a beautiful park and the water. Tea selections is vast, and the staff is very knowledgeable. They only have food on weekend mornings, but it's excellent.

Hooker Tea is really something special. If you are looking for twee and chintz, this is NOT the spot for you. This place has an awesome vibe. The staff and owners are great! I never knew what rooibos, oolong or pu-erh was until I came across the Hookers and now I'm HOOKED!! This place will give the best coffee shop a good run for its' money.

The Hooker Tea Company is a wonderful and relaxing place to enjoy. My girlfriend and I make a monthly pilgrimage to relax and bring home some great tea. We have never been disappointed! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the teas are always fresh and delicious! I have been highly recommending this tea shop to all my friends and acquaintances!

OMG...Hooker Tea ROCKS!!! The tea is fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly & knowledgeable and the decor is warm and 'homey'. Can I move in? The breakfasts equal any fine restaurant...don't miss them! What a wonderful 'find'. Spread the word. Even if you don't think you like tea, you will fall in love with this place. What a lot of folks don't say is how helpful their staff is! Even if you can't tell the difference between tea and crystal light or are one of those who can't do anything other than coffee, they will find something for you. Great personalities. Their tea speaks for itself. First rate quality! You'll be on first name basis with them in no time! And the breakfast is St. Petersburg's best kept secret! Ask for some Dr. Feelgood or have Frank come up with a concoction. You won't regret it. This place is #1. Can't wait to go back to Hooker Tea!

My kitchen is now stocked with six different teas from Hooker...and growing! So far I have tried Chocomate (favorite!), Caramel mate, kyoto cherry green, spice of life, sri lankan chai, lavender, chamomile, and paper airplanes. I also love that you can get any of their teas in a boba (bubble) tea. Their tea sets are lovely and reasonably priced. They have some exclusives from Japan. I have made it a habit to visit the gelato shop next door and then go get some tea. It makes for a perfect day.

The staff at Hooker Tea is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They offer an amazing variety of loose teas from around the world, and carefully prepare each one with exactly the right water temperature and steeping time. They also offer a selection of useful tea accoutrements. The atmosphere is very modern, somewhat spare, but relaxing. Don't expect scones and devonshire cream -- this isn't a high tea sort of place. It's a wonderful spot for relaxed conversation with friends and to learn about what teas you like and why.

Best tea shop EVER!!! I loved this place. Such nice people and GREAT atmosphere. I have been to lots of tea shops in lots of cities and this place tops my list of favorites! It is definitely not your Grandmothers tea house. I was pleasantly surprised. They have an impressive selection of over 100 teas and many tea accessories. I have not been yet, but I hear that they are now offering a weekend breakfast which, I hear is phenomenal. I highly recommend this place!!
