Step back in time at The Jewell Box at Rosemont, a Victorian era tea room located in charming Jewell, GA, nestled in the country along the Scenic Byway, Civil War Heritage Trail and the Ogeechee River. Delight yourself in shopping the fully restored 1870's mercantile store with its wide array of antiques, vintage collectibles and local historical memorabilia. You may indulge your sweet tooth with made from scratch fudge, award-winning scones with homemade jams and other scrumptious bakery delights. Choose a savoring cup of hot coffee or enjoy the bygone past time of a cup of tea from the specially selected assortment of teas from around the world. A specialty of the house is its signature black tea, Three Jewells, created with a aromatic blend of sunflower, jasmine and rose petals. The Jewell Box is available for group 'Afternoon Tea' with the girls. The owner, Denise Coard, will create that special occasion with just the right touch of lace, china and chintz to create a lasting memory. The Jewell Box at Rosemont is open from Thurs - Sat from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm or by appointment any other time. Other services available by Denise include her full-service interior design business, Fruit of the Room, which features custom drapery and fabrics, faux custom painting, flower design services and custom artwork. Variety: I really enjoyed every minute of my wonderful afternoon at the Jewell Box Tea Room.They offer a huge wonderful varity of teas,homemade baked goods to go along with the tea/coffee.It was a wonderful relaxing afternoon 'southern style'.Denise and Andrew has a great place to come and spend the day.To relax and sit down and chat while drinking and eating wonderful teas,and homemade items.Come and get away from it all,enjoy the country and enjoy a outstanding tearoom.I will be back. |

Variety: Wonderful destination for the Georgia Spyder Riders Ladies Tea Ride. Denise was wonderful. The cranberry white chocolate scones and Creme Brulee tea were overall favorites. The atmosphere was charming and relaxing. We may make this an annual event for our group. Thank you, Denise! |

Variety: This was one of my favorite teas! Unique setting, old mercantile store from the 1800s. Plenty of tea products, some antiques, and some art work. The tea was good, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic! I highly recommend anyone traveling through Jewel GA stop by for some tea and shopping! |
