Overview

My Vision for The Joy Garden started in the spring of 1996. I wanted to create a special place where people could come and visit and find Joy in just being. I wanted to bring Joy to others as they celebrate life and the special moments each of us needs to honor and embrace in a daily journey of life. The garden represents the beauty of God's creation and the spiritual oneness of all life. Taking Tea warms my heart and speaks to my soul. It provides the opportunity to open yourself up to share love with others. Healing starts with Hope and brings forth Joy. I invite you to come and enjoy Tea in the Conservatory overlooking the garden and fountain or retreat and meditate in the prayer garden.

We absolutely LOVE this tearoom! My mom, my daughter and I have started a tradition of going each August to begin the new school year. We have visited many other places and always come back to the Joy Garden. Nancy always has wonderful food to serve in a fantastic setting!

Today was the first time I have been to Joy Garden Teahouse. I took my friend there for her birthday. I must say, we were so delighted, I know we will be back - with friends in tow! We started with mojito iced tea, which was wonderful, then progressed to chilled cantaloupe soup, scones, petit fours and dessert, all served on lovely flowered china. We chose a pot of chocolate mint tea to sip throughout the meal.

Really, we couldn't decide which was better, the ambiance, service or food - hmmm, decisions ~~~
