Overview
A English owned and operated tearoom in the heart of downtown Bradenton. Lavender scones served with Devonshire clotted cream, home made lemon curd and raspberry preserve (a treat in itself!) shortbread, fairy cakes, petit fours are all baked fresh daily. Our teas are all loose leaf and imported from England: An Earl Grey infused in Bergamot oil. The blend of tea served every spring at the Buckingham Palace garden party and our latest blend, a light afternoon tea with hints os strawberry and lemon can be served either hot or iced. We always have a wonderful English imported tea of the month. Please visit our website for our full menu.

Variety: Visit this tea room regularly, sometimes for the great traditional afternoon tea, sometimes for the amazing quiche and soup lunch special and always for the experience of Jennys wonderfully English and slightly eccentric personality! |

Variety: On Sept. 3 I had the great pleasure of attending a birthday tea party given in honor of my dear friend, Niki. The food was delightful - lavendar scones, tea cakes and luscious sandwiches - absolutely best of all being the Coronation Chicken. And, what a wonderful venue (I'm such an Anglophile)-Jenny and her lovely B&B brought back memories of happy times spent with friends in England. I was so impressed. I will be back to spend a night or two in the near future. Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a wonderful party. |

Variety: Have just had a baby shower at The Londoner, everything was perfect, the food delicious (the cornonation chicken sandwich was amazing) The endless pots of delicious tea, lavender scones, shortbread, fairy cakes, chocolate tarts. Attention to detail the whole way, plus they let you use the parlor for shower games and gift opening for free! A wonderful British experience all round. |

Variety: For my daughter's 8th birthday I booked the Mrs. Potts Tea. Jenny, the owner, had a fantastic idea- tell the girls all to bring their American Girl dolls. To my surprise the table for 10 was set with mini tea-cups and little plates! Most of the girls had lemonade instead of tea, but the cup that I had was wonderfull, I belive it was the Buckingham Palace Tea. Jenny and Jill- Be expecting me soon!! |

Variety: I have had the traditional afternoon tea at The Londoner twice now, once with my red hat group which was wonderful and then again with a group of friends just before christmas, both the Earl Grey and the Buckingham Palace blend of tea were delicious, I think their Earl Grey is the best I have ever had and I am a big tea drinker! The house special sandwich of chicken cranberry and avocado was amazing, scones made with English flour were like none I have tasted before and I was also lucky enough to have the home made English Christmas cake and home made mince pies with my traditional tea just before christmas, the house was beautifully decorated, Jenny and Jill treated us all as friends and the food is freshly homemade and all delicious. Would remommend it highly |

Variety: I'm honored to be the first to leave a review for this wonderful tearoom! We had a high tea today at The Londoner and it was absolutely fantastic! This 1926 home is tastefully decorated and is immaculate! We were greeted by Jenny and Jill who are so warm and friendly - it was like being greeted by your best friends! Jenny seated us at our lovely table complete with white tablecloths, beautiful china plates, and adorable little spoons with a tiny teacup on top of the handle. Jenny put two sets of teacup holders on our table so we could each choose our favorite cup. She explained about the two teas we would have and said that they use a very high quality imported loose tea (big chunky leaves). Our first pot was The Buckingham Palace Garden Party and the second pot was Traditional Ea... (more) |
