A friend and I went to the Milk and Honey Tea Room on a Groupon a few weeks ago. We were pleasantly surprised by the location and setting. The selection of teas was varied and the prepared beverages delicious. Experimenting is encouraged. The tea was prepared in the kitchen and arrived at the table ready to drink. The food was creative and delicious and the service was thoughtful and caring. Both of us felt welcomed and appreciated. We will be going back, again and again.

I took my daughter for Tea with Santa and I loved it. It was really well put together and Santa was a hoot. The boutique was awesome and affordable we bought some great things. Some of the food was amazing and some was just okay. The holiday tea selections were good as well. One thing that was all-star was how friendly the staff was. I felt as if they appreciated my business and that means a lot to me. I do think that it could've been a little cozier, maybe some rugs or something, but the dress up corner was a hit!

I have been at the teahouse twice this holiday season and have been delighted with the experience both times. I came for high tea on a Saturday and to the Girl's Night Out event in December. The atmosphere is always so relaxing and the food delicious. We always feel very special when dining at the teahouse and Kathy's food is fabulous! I can't wait to return!

Once again I found myself visiting the Milk and Honey Tea Room. This delightful establishment is a 'gem' among tea rooms. The staff go out of their way to insure that your visit is an epicurean delight. Whenever I visit the tea room, I feel as if I am visiting a very dear friend in an english cottage. The high teas cuisine can not be duplicated anywhere else. What I think makes this tea room so special, besides the chef, sou chef, staff, tea and delicious food, is the 'welcome home' feeling I receive every time I visit. That feeling stays with me all the way home. I know when I return, I will experience that lovely feeling again.

Some of the food provided was stale. The service was unprofessional. After paying an extra fee to have a private party, I expected just that with no other patrons allowed. However, that did not occur. It was a mediocre experience

Tearoom Response
Hi Lauren,
I'm so sorry your experience didn't meet your expectations. To investigate this situation, I would need to know a bit more information, such as the date and time of your party and the name of the person that booked the reservation.

I can assure you, however, we have NEVER put any other guests in a dining room where there is a private party contracted. We do seat guests in our other separate dining room, as do all other restaurants. All of our food is made fresh every morning. If some of the guests in your party were late, it is possible that some items may have had a bit more delay time in serving than we anticipated. My apologies for that, but we cannot be responsible for guests that arrive up to 1.5 hours late, and the hosts want to wait for them, putting all of the food and service in a delay state.

I have been here twice and both times I have enjoyed the quiche of the week. Love the mushroom soup and of course the High Tea. Only wish I didn't have to count my calories, lol. Really enjoy the food the atmosphere and friendly staff.

Thank you Sue! LOL, You know there are no calories in High Tea! The servings of food are too small!

We look forward to having you again soon!

Beware of this establishment!

Vicky Rupley still has not received the tea set she paid for in January 2012.
