My family celebrated my daughter's birthday at the League City location today. The food was great and the friendly staff made a special day even more special. I highly recommend the chicken salad sandwich and potato soup. The peach iced tea was so good I think I had 4 glasses of it...Can't wait to go back

Thank you, Chef Jay, for providing the Vibrant Valentine's Red Hat chapter with such a lovely and delicious meal! The peach tea was very refreshing! It was a pleasure to dine at the Milk Pail, then follow the meal with shopping in the Antique Mall. We will tell all of our friends about our fine experience there!

What a great place you have in Alvin. We went to The Alvin Antique Center to pick up some furniture, and happened to come across this nice Tea Room. We were very impressed with the tomato basil soup and the outstanding chicken salad. The homemade bread pudding and split lemon cake was to die for.My friend and I later learned that the owner worked for The Hilton Hotels, you could tell he was very well polished.Everything from the white linens, white roses, and fine china was A+.Please open up a Tea Room in Bay Oaks!

I went to the Alvin Antique Mall for the first time on Saturday afternoon and notice this cute little tea room called the “Milk Pail” in the back corner. I figure whiled my husband and Aunt were shopping I could get a bit to eat. The white linen tables with roses made the atmosphere was very inviting and cozy so I walked inside and sat down. I was greeted by Jay, who later I found out was the owner and chef. He immediately informed me about the special of the day which was Chicken Salad sandwich, and Tomato Basil soup. A few minutes later he served me the most delicious sweet Raspberry tea and artichoke dip on toasted baguette. While enjoying my appetizer and tea, I had time to chat with a few of the other guests and admire the lovely antiques. My lunch arrived on fine china and half way t... (more)

Could only think of good things to say about the Milk Pail. The apple crunch cake is to die for. When we went, he had just closed 1/2 hr. before, but decided to take us anyway because of our sad sack faces.

I heard about the Milk Pail from a coworker, and find any excuse I can to take a trip there. The atmosphere is very nice, and I love the food; from start (artichoke dip on toasted baguette) to nice sized dessert (apple cake or bread pudding). I love antiques, so the fact that I get to shop and then visit this tea room; well it is just icing on the cake. Thank you so much for sharing your Grandma's wonderful food with us!

We ate at the Tea Room on Wednesday 11/26/08. I had a Turkey and Swiss with tomato basil soup. I want more please. I'm not usually a tomato soup eater but this was absolutely wonderful. It plus the cake will be my reason for coming back. If you are antiquing in the Alvin area, you must eat at the Milk Pail. Thanks for a great dining experience.
