Food: Very cute tearoom located in the first level of (what I think to be) the owner's house. She is an elderly woman who can be a little snippy. I had friends who went there and only one ordered food. When she saw the friend take one bite of dessert she charged them a 'sharing fee' on the bill without notifying them. One bite! Service can be slow which is fine if you're sitting around and talking. Usually has a high school student as a waitress. The menu is pretty much pre-selected as far as food, but there is a wide variety of tea. I live in North Central MA and this is the only tea room for miles and miles and I've gone many times. The good tea and treats make it worthwhile :) |
