Overview

At The Porch all of our menu items are prepared with your health in mind. Most are made in-house, from scratch using the healthiest (organic) ingredients we can find, including organic spices. We mill organic grain every time we bake. Even our desserts are made with freshly-milled organic flour and organic cane sugar. Our menu includes chicken salad, pot pie, sandwiches, soups, and salads.

We offer over 40 varieties of tea: black teas, green teas, herbal teas, decaffeinates teas (natural, chemical free CO-2 process), Oolong teas, and white teas. We also offer organic Octavia Tea. All of our teas can be served either hot or cold and by the cup/glass, pitcher, or pot.

In addition to serving fine teas and food, we are a book and gift store. We have a huge selection of books, gift items, collectibles, jewelry, home decor, and of course, teapots and teacups.

We are located in Danville off old highway 36 across from Beasley's Orchard. Our Tea Room is located in an old school house that has a wrap around porch. Outdoor seating is available and you will enjoy the country setting.

My absolute favorite place to have lunch with a friend or my entire bible study group. My favorite is their chicken salad on their homemade rye bread with a cup of white chicken chili. I love the peach ginger tea, but enjoy trying new ones from the list of many. The best thing by far is the wonderfully cheerful ladies who run The Porch.

Great countryside setting. Porch wraps around the building. Outdoor seating makes you feel like you're at Grandma's house. Great offering of organic food. Over 40 varieties of tea to choose from. Highly recommend the wild strawberry tea. Love it!
