What a delightful place. We ladies had a wonderful time. The quiche was fantastic. The Blueberry and house blend teas were great! Fun place with a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend. Worth the drive from Atlanta.

I along with five others celebrated a birthday at The Potted Geranium on January 4. We enjoyed The Duchess of Bedford (full afternoon tea service).What we were served is exactly what I visualize an afternoon tea should be and more. I picture a tiered tray with scones, small 'tea' sandwiches and a sampling of small sweets. We were served that plus quiche and a choice of salad or soup of the day.
Often times a business does not come through with what is displayed on their website, but The Potted Geranium delivers what it advertises on theirs.
It was by far the best 'tea' experience I have ever had.

My sister and I celebrated our January birthdays with a delightful lunch at The Potted Geranium, in Greensboro, Ga. From an offering of 13 black teas, two green, one white, four herbal and one organic, she selected Orange Spice, and I had The Potted Geranium Blend, featuring a combination of vanilla and grenadine—with each of us served our own pot in its own cozy. Enjoying plenty of time for conversation, we eventually ordered unhurriedly: she had the 'Charleston,' quiche with a delicious, thick mushroom soup and a currant scone with jam and clotted cream; I had the 'Queen Mary,' breast-of-turkey salad with a Tuscan green salad (pine nuts, prosciutto, artichoke hearts, etc.) and currant scone. Her desert was a cream tart; mine was a cherry shortcake with a dollop of ice cream. Everything w... (more)as made from scratch and so delicious that we ate as slowly as possible to make it last. All of this was enjoyed in elegant surroundings in a beautifully restored old home. For what we got and how much we enjoyed it, the price was quite reasonable. The Potted Geranium is a special place well worth a day trip, situated in beautiful old Greensboro, Georgia just on the edge of downtown.

Excellent+++ The owner has authentically restored the building, and the antique furnishings are beautiful.The staff is so gracious, and the service and food are superb! There are so many varieties of tea, it is difficult to choose. The tea sandwiches and the sweets are outstanding, and the scones are the best ever. I have gone to tea in other states and none comes close to The Potted Geranium. My husband loves to go to tea with me and he really likes the quiche. Be prepared that you will not be able to eat all of the food. You will take some home. Please avail yourself of this wonderful tea house when you can.

I have been twice now, and both times were lovely. The food is excellent and the owner and staff friendly and welcoming.

The food, the tea, the atmosphere, the service - everything was just perfect. Several friends and I enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing lunch. Thank you for making us feel so special.

We had a lovely luncheon and so enjoyed the ambience. We loved the tea selections and the menu was great. The decorating is beautifully done, and it's a joy to be in each room. My daughter and daughter-in-law truly enjoyed the treat!
The owner is so welcoming and the wait staff is so pleasant!

Greensboro is very blessed to have such a classy tearoom in our little town. Everything I have had at the Potted Geranium has been excellent. The scones are the best I have ever had.

We had lunch here, and enjoyed delicious salads, soups, and desserts. Each of us chose a different tea, which was served elegantly in prety tea cosies. Service was swift and cheerful, a very pleasant experience.

A fabulous lunch with wonderful tea in a most elegant atmosphere! A great way to have a special lunch with good friends. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the sevice was excellent!!

The food was outstanding and very elegantly delivered. We both had the Pai mu tan white tea which was delicious. The server was absolutely delightful, what a sweetheart. We celebrated my wife's birthday there and had just a terrific time.

I have been to this Tea Parlor many times since Laura opened in Greensboro. I celebrated my birthday there yesterday and it was wonderful!!!The food, tea,attention to detail,and beautiful surroundings are beyond expectation. The staff are just as wonderful. Ask for Linda. Not only is she a beautiful lady but she is a great hostess, as well. Pure down home, southern hospitality at its best! Treat yourself to a memorable experience at the Potted Geranium.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience at this tearoom. The service, ambiance, tea, food, and attention to detail were all excellent. We are frequent tea room guests at many tearooms across the state however this tearoom is number one. The scones are the best around. I will definitely make the trip from Atlanta again.

Absolutely an exquisite place for lunch, pecan chocolate tea is awesome, food is delicious, but it is the friendly heart warming atmosphere and service that sets it apart. Treat yourself and a friend !

My daughter and I had a delightful lunch at the Potted Geranium. I recommend the Victorian Lady which is their light tea service. It is a great way to sample a little of everything. The scones were absolutely delicious. We tried to purchase some to take home, but a party before us bought 40 to go so we will just have to return to enjoy them again. Each lunch includes a full pot of tea; loved the cute tea cozies with each pot. This is a gem of a place for a delightful lunch. We left with smiles on our faces and will definitely be back.

There were 3 in our party; each having a different pot of tea. Each pot came in a tea cozy, all ready brewed, so cannot say if tea was whole leave or bags. Beautiful restored Victorian home from the 1840s. Each room a different color with appropriate tea service. Service was excellent; warm, calm, friendly. Two of us had the Duchess of Bedford (full tea) and the other in our party had the Victorian Lady. The Duchess came with quiche of the day (which was Swiss and mushroom; served piping hot; crust was divine; lots of mushrooms imparted a very pleasant earthy flavor). A variety of lovely finger sandwiches. And the scones...a bit different than an English scone...a tad sweeter with a wonderful crunchy bottom. We were told the chef was looking for a cross between a traditional scone and a Southern biscuit; she succeeded! I'd love to go back.

A lovely place, beautiful atmosphere lovely people prompt service, always with a smile. Food and tea simply wonderful!

My friends and I travel all over to visit Tea Rooms every few months as a way to catch up and enjoy ourselves. One of my friends had been to the Potted Geranium before and raved about it. I joined her and another friend this past weekend (I drove from Ball Ground, GA - 50 miles north of Atlanta) and it was everything my friend had said - a true treat. The food, the house and experience was absolutely wonderful. I cannot say enough about it. The owner has clearly found her niche. The Chef prepared wonderful food. We plan to go back over and over. I highly recommend the Potted Geranium. You will not be disappointed no matter how far you drive to get there.

The Potted Geranium is the epitome of all a tearoom “could” and “should” be. Serving incredible delights upon the finest bone china on a table dressed with Irish Linen napkins, this is the tearoom of your dreams. My husband loves to have tea with me on special occasions. We drive 1 hr 45 mins from Duluth, GA. It is worth the drive from anywhere!

A friend and I had the Duchess of Bedford tea on Saturday.We have visited several tea rooms in the past,but The Potted Geranium is the absolute BEST! The food was excellent-made with the freshest ingredients.They grow their own herbs.The tea was spectacular. We tried the Tropical Orchard and the Jasmine with flowers. If you feel in need of a getaway,I strongly encourage you to visit The Potted Geranium.As soon as you walk through the door,you will begin to relax.It has such a calming atmosphere.You will leave feeling as if you had a day at the spa.

We had another wonderful lunch yesterday with excellent tea selections, salads, quiche, and the best scones in the world! We left feeling pampered, relaxed, and fully satisfied. This is absolutely our favorite tea room.

I loved The Potted Geranium so much, I decided to have my wedding there. It was the most perfect day. My family and I felt right at home because of the wonderful staff and the lovely atmosphere. I am so thankful that I decided to have our wedding there. I could not have asked for anything more. I can't wait to go back for a date with my husband.

Just had lunch at the Potted Geranium with my Mom. She loved it. Great variety of teas served in lovely pots. All of the lunch choices are wonderful. The deserts are home made and delicious. Their scones are to die for! Presentation and service are great. Love the old china and tea cups. Piano music in the background adds a nice touch too. The decor and gardens of this lovely restored home bring you back in time. If you are in the area, don't miss a stop here for lunch or tea.

I first discovered this place in February and I've been 3 times so far. It has wonderful teas and the food is exceptional. My personal favorite is the chicken salad. The ambiance and the service are both top notch. This is worth a trip out of the way to reach this jewel.

I recently had tea at The Potted Geranium with my mom and sister for my mom's birthday. It was an amazing experience! The house is beautiful and the service was excellent! It is by far the best tea I have had and the food was super super delicious. If you enjoy tea, put this on your list of places to visit. You will NOT be disappointed!

My two daughters 'surprised' me with a trip for my 62nd birthday. Our first stop was The Potted Geranium. WOW, it was wonderful.

We each had our own pot of the most wonderful, top quality loose leaf tea. It warmed our heart as well as our body and prepared us for all the food that was prepared with expertise and skill.

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing and a perfect place to spend time with my daughters.

We had a lovely time at the Potted Geranium this past Saturday. The home is beautifully restored and maintained and the food and service was outstanding. I hope to visit many more times. It was a beautiful experience for my birthday weekend.

I have had the pleasure of tea at the Potted Geranium five times since its opening. I have not been disappointed on any level with the food quality or the staff. I have been to tea a number of places in the US and British Columbia, the Potted Geranium rates the highest on my list. The architecture detail and decor and grounds are exquisite. Southern Charm at its best!

The Potted Geranium is an absolutely wonderful experience. The atmosphere is so inviting, the service is fantastic, and the tea and food is incredible!! The brew and flavor of the tea is perfect--SO soothing. The food is absolutely delicious. What a great place for a time of relaxation, or just to have some 'girl time.' I look forward to my next visit!

The Potted Geranium's gorgeous decor, relaxing atmosphere, outstanding service, and wonderful tea and food are always a pleasure to experience. The gift shop has many great things to offer also. This place makes us feel so special!

This is a real GEM! Every thing about this place is above the ordinary,from the owner to the food and staff. There is enough to eat for any one. This is a must when in Greensboro. They made our lunch for my wife's birthday an event to remember. We live in Atlanta and will come back as offten as we can.

Beautiful setting for sharing lunch with my mother and sisters and niece. We all selected different teas and all were good. My favorite was the French Carmel and our lunch was absolutely delicious. Great gift shop, too.
