Variety: We just fell in love with this place. Drove down from Danville Va. after hearing great reviews of this place. The three of us each had the chicken salad and the fall salad. They were excellent to say the least. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating, making sure our visit was at it's best. We can't wait to tell everyone we know and share this special place with dear friends. |

Variety: Some friends and I drove up from Greensboro to have lunch at the Ruby Rose Tearoom. We did not know what to expect but, had heard nothing but wonderful things about it. I must say it so much more then we expected. It was one of the nicest places I have ever visited. The home was so clean and decorated so beautiful, it was though you had stepped back in time. We all were just blowed away at how beautiful this place was. We each tried something different on the menu. The chicken salad was out of this world. They were baking their crossiants the day we visited and the whole house smelled of fresh baked bread. I swear I gained ten lbs. just smelling it. The other favorite item on the menu was the Fall salad with cranberries and red onion and feta cheese and sugared almonds and there homemade a... (more) |

Variety: What a wonderful place to visit and have lunch with friends. It was our first visit after hearing so many good things about the tearoom and I must say we all agreed it sure does live up to it's amazing reviews. The food was wonderful as was the service. We as a group that meet twice a month have decided this will be our new meeting place. It truly is a oversized doll house for adults. You also could not ask for a better host then Lisa the owner so friendly and pays attenion to every detail to make sure your visit is at it's best. We are so excited about our new meeting spot and can not wait to return. |

Variety: I have been to tearooms all over and this one is my favorite one by far. The service is outstanding with every need met for sure. The food was great along with the blueberry tea. We all had the Death By Chocolate Cake and it sure lives up to it's name. We can't wait to come back we so wish it was in our community. The people in Stoneville are so fortunate to have such a special place to visit. I just might move there now!!! Thanks to the owner for taking time out of her day to talk with us she was a wonderful hostess. We will see you soon. |

Variety: Couldn't have picked a more perfect experience to share with my young daughter than High Tea at the Ruby Rose Teahouse. It's like stepping back in time. The food was excellent and the service was incredible. Wished all restaurants had such great service. Nothing overly formal, very warm southern hospitality by staff and owner. |

Variety: Visited on 6/27/2006 with a very good friend. Was pleasantly surprised at the food and ambience. I was born and raised in Stoneville and Ruby Rose is the best thing that has happened in this town in a very long time. I presently live in Kernersville but will be back soon. Joann Peterson |

Variety: We stopped by on our way from Myrtle Beach back home to Lewisburg, WV. I love tearooms, cafes, and unique places. Found this on the internet. Beautiful home, Southern style. Riding in our convertible, it had been very hot outside. Wonderfully cool inside the house with terrific blackberry ice tea to drink. I do love hot tea, but we needed something cold. We had a lunch of basil chicken salad, fruit salad, and potato salad. Wonderful. Very nice people. I would love to go back. Can't tell you anything about the hot teas, since it was not that time of the year for me. |

Variety: From the moment I opened the old-fashioned screendoor and stepped into Ruby Rose, my breath was taken away by the victorian beauty my eyes beheld. I felt like I had gone back in time to a gentler, quieter, more serene place. The food was delicious and I left there with a desire to share this special treasure with those people I love. I can't wait to go back!!! Pat Harper, Danville, Virginia |

Variety: This was a spur of the moment trip and worth the drive from Greensboro! Of course, when you're with a good friend, the drive is short. I fell in love with this place. The food was great, the atmosphere wonderful, service was great and the owner was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly. What a way to recharge. In this hectic world, it was a step back to a calmer, more relaxing time. You can feel yourself going 'Ahhhh...' as all the worries and 'need-to-do' lists flow out of you and for that period of time that you're there, the outside world recedes. You just sit and look around at all the trompe l'oeil paintings, the china, the knick-knacks and marvel at the way the owner has put it all together and made such a welcoming and relaxing experience for you, in mind and body! Needless to say, I'll be back again...and again..LR |

Variety: What a great place to visit! I have been several times and loved each visit. Took an out of town friend who's quite picky and she was truly impressed. That said a lot! Took a group of 10 out of town guests for lunch, we all tried different things, found them all to our liking. Only comment was only getting one cup of tea and not refills. The many sandwiches we tried were all great, the hummingbird cake was delicious. Corn chowder soup and potato soup were both out of this world. A new wrap with chicken and BBQ sauce, and a jalapeno touch to the cold slaw were great on another visit. Friendly staff, excellent attention to detail and service. We'll return soon for sure, and bring more friends. |

Variety: This is indeeed a 5 star tearoom. A group of us visted this week and we all agreed this is the best tearoom we have ever been to. We all had the Raspberry tea and what a treat it was, good and hot to the end. We just loved the staff and the owner Lisa is such a joy to talk with as she took time out of her day to talk with us about her love of the tearoom. She has brought such a special place to Stoneville and we are so glad she is here. We are planning a Bridal Shower and can't wait to come back. Variety: visted Ruby Rose this week and I must say it is the best tearoom I have been to yet!! We each had something different on the menu and each of us agreed it was excellent. The house is very beautiful and clean. We talked with Lisa the owner and what a delight she was. The staff were also very friendly and seemed to really enjoy their job. I could not think of a better place to work myself. We will be going back that is for sure. |

Variety: I was there for your high tea a few weeks ago and I was much impressed with your beautiful house but food was marginal. Our tea sandwiches were dried out from being made too early and there wasn't any fruit offered on the high tea. The scones were good but more like a biscuit than a cream scone. The tea was wonderful and nice and hot. It was more than an adequate amount of food and we left with two doggie bags. The service was good and the owner was delightful. I will come back but will not come for high tea but for lunch. |

Variety: I enjoyed the experience so much when I got home I painted this beautiful victorian home in watercolor media. Had I planned to share a critique of the tearoom, I would have ordered tea with lunch. When I return, I will order tea first. This act will validate my assumption of excellence I am required to provide now to complete this review. |

Variety: A couple of my friends and I had heard so much about this Tearoom we decided it was time to go and see for ourselves. I can't even begin to tell how wonderful our time there was. It was such a beautiful house even in the dead of winter. We each had different items on the menu and each was excellent to say the least. The owner came around to each table and took the time to talk with everyone, and it was quite busy the day we attended. I know that we all are cutting back these days, but I do encourage that you take the time to visit this place you will be glad you did. I promise you will want to return on a regular basis as I am planning to myself. |

Variety: I visted the tearoom with two dear friends, and we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the place and with the delicious food and fantastic service. The attractive 1910 historic house has a half wrap-around porch with round columns and small decorative windows in the attic. A painted tin roof matches the kelly green shutters that brighten the beautiful home. The tearoom is handicapped accessible from the rear parking area. There is also parking allowed on the street in front of the house. The floors seem to be their original stained wood and are decorated with beautiful area rugs. The inside made me feel as if I were walking into a fairytale book with artificial roses decorating everything. The window dressings are made of exquisite white lace. Beautiful chandeliers hang above the cozy table... (more) |

Variety: I loved it. Very nicely decorated and relaxing. Great food and excellent hospitality. Enjoyed the gift shops. |

Variety: Food was excellant. Decor is charming. Many items in the gift shop were not priced and there was no one to ask. Service in restaurant was so-so. It was a much more boisterous atmosphere than expected as the waitress kept yelling across the room and ended every sentence with a loud 'Darlin'. She would be more suited to working at Waffle House. Very disappointed that the atmosphere was not more soothing. I did not inquire about the tea selection, although the ice tea was excellent. |
