Savannah Tea Room is an excellent place for lunch. They serve a variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, and some other options. Their waitresses are pleasant and eager to help make your visit enjoyable. They have over 100 teas in their tea selection!

I took four of my close friends here for my birthday last month and I was VERY disappointed. There was simply not enough food. The total bill came to around 200 dollars and we left and went to subway after! We are a younger group of girls and because of this I think the server did not think we were worth much time. We were rushed out of the place! I was embarassed that I had made my friends pay almost 30 dollars each for a mere snack. Go to Miss Mable's in Dickson if it is still open.

It has been a while since I was there but I was disappointed also. I had been there several times and could see a definite change in the quality of food and service. The tea was terrible. They did bring me a new pot but it was not hot and I had to wait for a log time. I know the food industry is hard work and everyone can have an 'off' day so I will try it again. I also agree it is too expensive!

My husband and I enjoyed high tea on Valentine's Day and everything was excellent. We plan to go back.

There were 2 problems with the afternoon tea we had recently
1. Food: Some items were nice but others were not. Instead of clotted cream, a glass of pink, whipped cream was served. The server said it was clotted cream which was obviously untrue.
2. Price: 2 high teas and 1 light tea added up to $99.06. Apparently, they added tax and 20% gratuity on top of the what they charge. But we still don't think the bill is correct. She charged $38 for high tea! Even for X-mas, it is hefty. We have had afternoon teas across UK and USA and the closest to this kind of charge was at the Waldorf, NYC where you get real clotted cream.

If you want to have high tea in Nashville, do it at home or try the Hermitage hotel where you get a nice high tea for much less $.
