I have had lunch at The Southern Lady Tea Room several times and each time the experience was wonderful. The coffee and teas are always fresh and perfectly brewed. Marie makes awesome sandwiches. This last time I had a turkey wrap in a sun-dried tomato and basil tortilla. The apricot tea and fresh watermelon went great with it.
I love the relaxed atmosphere, the great deals you find in the store and most of all I love the way Marie always makes you feel welcome. You leave her tearoom feeling better than when you came.

A friend and myself drove out on a whim from Midwest City and had a totally delightful time!!
The food and service was exemplary and the conversation about Charleston and Southern Hospitality was wonderful.

I'v enjoyed many tearooms throught the upper midwest, and throught the South. Southern Lady Tea Room in Choctaw is OUTSTANDING! The fresh soups and salads are remarkable, and matched only by Marie's wonderful warm and ever so friendly Southern hospitality! If you are looking for a break from the daily lunch grind, or for a relaxing quiet lunch with a friend, this is the place. I love this place so much that I drive 30 miles just for lunch!

A friend and I enjoyed the brocolli and cheese soup and chicken salad croissant sandwich combo. We tried the raspberry and almond tea flavoring and thought both were very good. The displayed quilts are beautiful. For a nice, quiet lunch in the Choctaw area, we would recommend you visiting the Southern Lady Tearoom.

My wife and I had visited the Southern Lady Tea Room before and enjoyed our tuna crossandwiches and fajita soup with Earl Grey tea tremendousily. We decided to invite my parents and eventually ended up with 12 adults and three children and everyone thorouqhly enjoyed their dinner of chicken salad crossandwiches or tuna on a bed of lettuce with potato soup and this evening we all enjoyed sweet tea and it was a tremendous evening. Our service was wonderful by Marie and her daughter Kat. We were all there over 2 hours and just had a great evening in a very relaxed country atmosphere!!! We will come back again!!!

This tearoom was a great discovery, well worth the travel time from Shawnee. Wonderful chicken salad presented on a bed of greens with tomato and baby carrots and pleasant surprise of seasoned melba toast rounds drizzled with poppyseed dressing. The Godiva chocolate cheesecake for dessert was amazing! Locally ground and brewed coffee for non-tea drinkers was also very good. Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere and great service.
