Variety: Enjoyed a wonderfully tasty High Tea this past weekend. As a lovely surprise we were offered a Tomato Tasting of 5 varities of cherry tomatos fresh from thier kitchen garden. It was very fun and very yum! I would highly recommend this tea room and we look forward to our next visit. |

Variety: I visited this tea room and found the experience wonderful. I sat outside, on their lovely patio, and enjoyed a delicious High Tea along with some beautiful weather and landscaping. The nicest surprise was that the salid, soup (brocoli chedder) and some of the sandwiches were made with vegetables grown fresh in their Kitchen Garden. What a great way to enjoy locally freas grown food. This tea room is not only growing their own herbs, vegetables and fruit on site, but they also really know how to use those ingredents to make wonderfully delicioius menu items. So very tasty. I will be back and can't wait for their tomatoes to rippen. I was told they are growing about 15 varities. |

Variety: Enjoyed a very delicious High Tea and some beautiful weather, outside on their lovely patio. I've always heard wonderful things about this tea room and I finally found the time to pay them a visit and I am so glad I did. The food, espically the soup and scones were so tasty and those tea sandwiches were tasty too! The service was friendly and very helpful with my tea selection. I would recommend this tea room and I will be visiting then again soon. |

Variety: Had a delicious High Tea, complete with the best scones I've ever tasted. The soup and tea sandwiches were very tasty, each sandwich was so savory...yumm. Service was friendly and very helpful with suggestions on which tea to have. They have over 75 different teas on their tea menu. Then, when I got home I saw them featured as a favorite lunch spot on TV on NBC 10. Cool http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/station/as_seen_on/Lunch_Spots__The_Talking_Teacup_Philadelphia.html |

Variety: We had our first visit today to the 'The Talking Tea Cup' today and we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, the tea amazing and the service was great! My three year old can not stop talking about it and the grown ups really enjoyed the experience. Your establishment is beautiful, a true gem!! We look forward to future visits! I uploaded a few pictures. Thank you!! |

Variety: This was about our 6th time visiting this tearoom and although we have enjoyed it before, this visit was a letdown. The tea was very weak and when I requested it be brewed longer, I was given an attitude. My teenager was given a teapot which leaked all over the place and was told it was a drippy droppy teapot. This should have been replaced. Two members of our party ordered the same tea and we were given attitude that they each wanted their own teapot. The food was nowhere near as good as usual. The tastes they put together in the sandwiches were not complementary flavors. The desserts also were unimaginative, a small piece of cake, 1' x 1', a tiny cheesecake and a cookie. I was unaccustomed to getting such a small amount of food. All members of my party felt the same way. It was... (more) |

Variety: We enjoyed a very welcoming, and sunny High Tea, along with some great Iced Tea outside in their lovely Tea Garden. if you are looking for a treat, this Tea Room always delivers and is one of the best we've visited. Now, with an outside patio, it's another level of enjoyment. |

Variety: This Tea Room continues to please. Delicious food, perfectly steeped tea, friendly staff and a cute Gift Shop for some after tea shopping! I noticed they are in the process of planting a very nice vegetable and herb garden which I understand they will use as a Kitchen Garden for the Tea Room. What a great idea to grow Garden Fresh ingredients! Like I said, this Tea Room continues to please! |

Variety: I have been to the Talking Teacup many, many times. While their food is great and their teas wonderful, I find that my grandmother and I feel somewhat alienated in the environment by the owner. She is sweet to everyone else [maybe they are regulars?] but she comes off as very cold towards us. Everyone else is lovely and accommodating and polite. It is hard to make reservations. I've been given a hard time about trying to get a spot even if I call a few days in advance. I understand they have high traffic but they should at least try to work with their clients a bit more instead of saying that they're booked and not providing any open slots on that particular day. I have only ever walked in to their tea room twice but each time, even though there were open tables, I had to go throu... (more) |

Variety: I hosted a baby shower at the Talking Teacup. What a perfect place for one! The food was wonderful .... scones, tomato bisque, a wide variety of tea sandwiches, tasty desserts .... not to mention the tea! We definitely did not leave hungry. They placed us in a private, charming room upstairs and catered to our every need. The staff, especially Kathy the owner, were accommodating and friendly. We had a wonderful time, and I even bought some tea to enjoy at home in their gift shop! I will definitely be back again! |

Variety: My friend and our two daughters (both aged six) attended this tea house this morning for brunch. The food was delicious, the teas among the best I have ever had, the the staff could not have been more gracious to our party. They treated our girls like little royalty. I look forward to taking them back for the dress up room. |
