I recently had my bridal shower at the tea room and it was absolutely wonderful!!! We booked the larger room and it was perfect! The entire house was lovely and decorated beautifully. I loved all of the charming details around the house...It really made you feel like you were escaping for an afternoon! I had the chicken salad on a croissant and it was EXCELLENT! It was so delicious and far exceeded my expectations! I also had the white wedding tea which was lovely! The tea room was the perfect spot for my shower and I highly recommend it for private occasions or a relaxing afternoon with family and friends! Thank you! We will definitely be back!

Lynn and Staff, I want to say thank you for the wonderful atmosphere the friendly staff and delicious food and tea. My daughter McKenna and I recently visited the tea room for lunch and it was fabulous. The tea was amazing and the food was delicious. Lynn you have done a wonderful job with your business and you have picked a delightful staff. I can smell my moonlight sonata tea steeping right now, for it is a rainy afternoon and I am taking your advice and sitting for a bit with a wonderful cup of tea. My daughter always feels like a princess when she comes to your tea room. I highly recommend that if you haven't visited the tea room to do so. It is so delightful you will be glad you went. And let me say, you will return again and again. The food and tea is delicious. What a great place to have in our community.

It was so nice to enjoy a wonderful cup of holiday tea with friends today at The Tea Cup Tea Room. Each of the lovely rooms were decorated beautifully for the season. Lynn Davis has done a magnificent job of creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The delightful tea, delicious food and service were just perfect! I highly recommend that you visit The Tea Cup. We are fortunate to have such a gem in the heart of our community.

My 15 year old niece was visiting me from Boston. We had a whirlwind of activities going on for the holidays. Tuesday after Christmas we snuck away together and I took her to The Tea Cup Tea Room for an English High Tea. It was the highlight of her vacation. Lynn was amazing checking on us and giving personal attention. The staff, especially Lauren were all friendly and extremely knowledgeable and competent. My niece felt like a special princess. The teas were wonderful, especially the Autumn Harvest and the sugar plum scones were absolutely delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone looking to escape for an hour and feel like a princess.

Came in over the holidays and had the Pink Diamond High Tea with some of the Paris and Cranberry Autumn tea recommended by one of your servers! I'm terrible with names, but Laura or Lauren ring a bell? Such a great place to send some quality family & friend time. The decorations are just so cute and all the Christmas decorations just made me feel right at home. The food was just absolutely to die for. The raspberry white chocolate scones were some of the best I have ever had! And who can forget that soup and the homemade dressings? I would highly recommend this amazing little tea room to anyone and everyone. Although it can get a little busy and we did have to wait a couple minutes for a table, both our server and every other employee I saw hustling back and forth always had a smile on the... When we last visited your Tea Room we were amazed at the Fall atmosphere and decor. We enjoyed a wonderful High Tea. The experience left us wanting to host our own Fall tea party. We ordered the teas that were so delicious and Lynn promptly mailed them to us for the party. Thank you so much for making our party a success. Lynn, we visited your tea room last Friday afternoon and we had a wonderful tea experience. The presentation, food and atmosphere were exceptional. We all had the Pink Diamond Tea, and I had the pumpkin soup that was so delicious. We brought two new tea friends along with us, and they enjoyed their tea experience so much. My sisters and I live in Sarasota, and we have been coming for several years now and each time we are given such wonderful service. You are always there to welcome us and you and your staff make us feel like family. You have such a wonderful variety of teas and the server is always helpful in describing the types and the quality of the teas. Lynn, what can I say! We were all so excited driving from Sarasota anticipating your wonderful food and hospitality. As we sat in your shabby chic room, we all ordered the Pink Diamond High Tea. All the food was so delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The teas we sipped were smooth and delightful. We have been coming to your Tea Room for years and have never been disappointed. Lynn, you are so special. You and your staff always make us feel like we are home with family. I look forward to our next visit. Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon.

I haven't been to many tea rooms before, but I was so impressed with The Tea Cup that it's quickly become a favorite spot. They have an extensive list of loose leaf teas (I love the strawberry kiwi) and their soups are wonderful. The tomato basil and the chicken brie were both delicious. I absolutely love the chicken salad croissant! The owner always makes it a point to stop at every table to chat and see how everything is. It just adds a special touch and shows guests that their satisfaction is important. I'm always impressed with the decor, the service, the personal visit from the owner, the selection of teas, and the quality of the food. This place is one of a kind.

On my very first visit to The Tea Cup Tea Room, I was beyond impressed. This is not the first tea room I have been to, but to date I would have to say one of the best.

It started with the Black Orange Cinnamon tea. As April, our most excellent wait person, brought the tea pot and took off the lid to accommodate the tea bag giving the aroma of the tea a chance to escape, I was hooked. I knew if the tea tasted anywhere as good as it 's bouquet, this was going to be an adventure for my taste buds!

As the tea was steeping, the Chicken Artichoke and Brie soup arrived. The very first spoonful delivered so much flavor to all the appropriate places in my mouth it was a gastronomic fiesta! I think I would have to call it 'Super Soup!'

Next came the Chicken/Cranberry Sala... (more)d sandwich on a croissant bun. There was no skimping on ingredients here, or flavor either. This was simply another love affair with my palate!

And then I finally got to sip my tea. It completely lived up to any expectation I could possibly have had in relation to the aroma. I have tasted many teas in my time, but this would have to top my list at present.

Then came the scones with the Devonshire Cream. Again, I have had scones many times, but these were fresh out of the oven and warm. Topped with copious amounts of the Devonshire Cream, which was a new experience for me, they were far beyond any reproach! Scrumdelicious.

And to be sure I did not miss out on one of my favorite deserts, which is anything with apple, I had to have a portion of their Apple/Bourbon Cobbler. Talk about saving the best for the last. Well, you will simply have to find out for yourself.

Now I have a challenge for all you wives, and any of the guys who may review this. Wives, goad your guys to get a group together and pay themselves the pleasure to your taste buds and visit The Tea Cup Tea Room.

As always, The Tea Cup experience was outstanding. Our group of 10 ladies included some who had never been to a tea room and 'did not like tea'. Well, everyone had a wonderful time, the food was terrific, service was excellent and gracious. Everyone was very impressed. Thanks to Lynn and all of her staff. I would definitely recommend The Tea Cup, you will not be disappointed.

What a wonderful place. I had my daughter's 4th birthday party here in January and the staff was so gracious with 15 preschoolers. The food was great for the girls and they enjoyed every wonderful moment of their 'Princess Belle' Tea Party celebrating my daughter, Zoe. This is the perfect place to introduce little girls to the fine elegance. There were real tea cups and fine china for each girl. While I was hesitant about the glass place settings, the staff were calm, cool and collected. The moms also had a fabulous time enjoying their lunches and the many teas that were offered. I would suggest The Tea Cup Tea Room to anyone from Baby Showers to Wedding Showers to Little Girl Tea Parties to just an afternoon tea. What a wonderful experience. My daughter (and her friends and her friends' moms) still rave about it six months later!!!

My sister was visiting from Orlando a few weeks ago and I took her to your tea room. She was so impressed with everything, she is hoping she will be able to bring all her daughters for this special treat. You are the best!

This is one of my favorite tea rooms! The food is always delicious; I especially love the chicken salad on a croissant (BEST AROUND!). Yes, I do get cravings for this so if I do not have time to stay for the tea... I call in my special order and stop on my way home to pick it up! When I have guests from out of town, my first choice is to get some lunches to go and set up the tea at my home so I have more time to visit instead of preparing food all day.

I highly recommend The Teacup. Lynn, the owner, will make you feel at home. :o)

I have visited the 'Tea Cup' three times with different friends and have loved it every time. They have something for everyone. Whether it's tea, brunch or lunch you will not be disappointed. I travel from Lutz to Brandon just to go to the 'Tea Cup'. I am VP of the USF Women's CLub and also Chair of the Tea Club. I am always looking for different tea houses and I am planning on bringing my ladies to enjoy everything I have enjoyed for June's social tea party. Their scones, soup and quiche is to die for. I know they will be delighted with my choice.

My daughter and I decided to do something different the day after the 'Royal Wedding' and so we came to The Tea Room for High Tea. What an absolute delight it was! The teas were of wonderful quality and flavor and the food held a new taste adventure with each bite! We will most certainly return....with our friends!

I went to the tea room to pick up scones I had ordered. I'm originally from England and was really craving scones that reminded me of home. I've been to different bakeries and another tea room in search of that similar flavor from back home. When we got there and picked up the scones I noticed they were very very flat and a little undercooked, very soft and kind of cake-like. Nothing at all like an English scone. I was disappointed by the scone. I will add on a side note I did not go for tea so I can't really rate their tea and other foods offered apart from the scones.

I have been to the Tea Cup Tea Room 5 times but will not be back. Although it is a beautiful shop and Lynn and her wait staff are nice and friendly, the last two times we were there kind of ruined it for us. On one occasion four of us from my office (fellow tea sisters who frequently visit tea rooms) had made reservations for high tea for 11:30. We were there around 11:20 and were led to a table (in one of the smaller rooms) but didn't get our food for over 30 minutes. The only other people in the room was a party of two. When we asked about it, we were told the food was being prepared which we thought meant we were going to get something from the oven. However, when the tray of goodies was delivered, it was the usual high tea fare and nothing was warm so none of us could understand w... (more)hat took so long to prepare, especially since we had a reservation. Another time, again calling ahead with a reservation, I went with a girl friend from my office only to get there and wait almost 45 minutes for a table. We knew we were in trouble when we couldn’t find a place to park and had to park in the front near the street. There were several large parties so we had to wait until they were done. Since we called ahead with reservations, someone should have told me there were large parties scheduled and that there might be a delay. We would have made our reservations for a later time or come a different day.
Another issue my tea sisters and I have is that they put too many onions in the chicken salad that it overpowers the salad. It would taste so much better without it. The tea room itself is lovely with a great ambience but since most of us don’t like the signature sandwich served with high tea and we got burned the last two times with regards to service, I am sorry to say I won’t be back as there are too many other tea rooms in Tampa and Brandon that provide better.

My husband, daughter and I just returned from having lunch at The Tea Cup Tea House. The food was great, the selections of tea are fantastic and the ladies always make us feel very welcomed. Not many men like going to tea houses but my husband enjoys this one. We look forward to coming back again soon.

Dear Lynn, I'm finally getting around to writing this review of my FAVORITE tea room...It has been such a pleasure coming to The Tea Cup Tea Room over the past several years. My friend Cindy's Annual Christmas Tea, and our other visits have ALWAYS been DELIGHTFUL! We have visited many tea rooms in Tampa & the surrounding area, but find the Tea Cup our favorite for many reasons. You and your staff have always been so accommidating and attentive to our personal needs... and besides...no one else has your fantastic chicken salad or CAMERON!:-) There is just someting special about the atmosphere and personal touch of the Tea Cup Tea Room. I have many times reccommended and will continue to reccomend your tea room. Our group looks forward to seeing you all again soon as I host our groups 1st Annual Easter/Springtime Tea in April. Who said Tea Rooms are just for the ladies? We, my husband and I, love going to the Tea Cup. The Food is great; the ladies are very friendly; the Decor is beautiful and inviting; and did I mention the Food is Great. Love You! See You Soon!

Delightful and delicious! I have been to many tea rooms throughout the country and the Tea Cup ranks high on the list. Our waitress was wonderful - very friendly and accommodating to my husband's fear of all things mayonnaise. While all of the food was delicious, the warm apricot/white chocolate scones with cream were out of this world. We also appreciated that the ambiance was pretty and relaxing without being stuffy or pretentious. I have lived in FL for a year and a half and this is the first tea house to which I would love to return. I only wish I lived closer!

I've been to many tea rooms in Florida, Illinois and Missouri and this is one of the very best. The food was excellent and the service very good. I can't wait till I go back to Florida to have this experience again. I purchased some of the loose tea and can't wait to be home to try it. Thanks to everyone so very much.
