Very cute and quaint tearoom..just what you`d expect a tearoom to be. Food was outstandingly GOOD. I especially appreciate being served anyway; as I barely got there just before closing time. It is a little more expensive then most...but worth it! Nice variety and selection of food

Before another minute passes, I wanted to get online to add a review for the nicest place I've been lately. I recently visited my sister in Brandon for a few days for some much-needed, and much APPRECIATED sister time! My sister, Ginny, had told me many times about this wonderful tea room to which she, her friends, their daughters... love to come to relax, enjoy company, and great food. Finally, it was my turn to go! This tea room did not disappoint!! Quite the opposite, in fact. We arrived on the late side of the lunch hour due to my trip into the Tampa area, but they welcomed us graciously and we had the very best service! The staff is professional and so very nice. It was an enjoyable experience from top to bottom. And the teas were so special! I am a tea person and thought I had tried some special blends, but these were some of the most flavorful I've had.We tried 2- Organic Peach and Citrus Berry Splash with citrus undertones of 3 different berries. The Strawberry/White chocolate scones were to die for! Lynn, I will be back because we had such a great couple hours and I need lots more time to shop your nice selection of items in the up-front shop! Everytime I am in Florida I make a visit to the Tea Cup with friends. Today I came with my daughter-in-law, two granddaughters ages 4 and 3, my friend and her two granddaughters. This was our second visit with the little ones so that they can enjoy a 'fancy moment'. My four year old granddaughter had the high tea with us and said it was delicious. Her sister thoroughly enjoyed the strawberry tea in her own pretty teacup. It's a very comfortable place to help little girls feel like princesses with real china tea cups and tea pots in the yellow room. The staff is very warm and welcoming. Going to The Tea Cup Tea Room is a wonderful experience. I have been to the tea room a number of times and each time it has been a great experience. The food is fabulous, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the different teas that are offered. Lynn and the staff are very friendly. Each time I go it is like going to a friends home.

Love this tea room. Have had lunch here 5 times and always is an excellent experience. Going again next week with friends and our grand daughters. What an incredible place the Tea Room is!!! My sister took me and my best friend to have a 'girl's lunch'. We had the most WONDERFUL time!! Everything from the food, to the atmosphere, staff and gift shop was EXTRAORDINARY! I just wish we lived closer to the Tea Room....

They have the most wonderful ladies to host your tea gathering. They are friendly, helpful, flexible and I have been there at least 4 times and it is wonderful every time, even when our group is large. We will always continue to come back.

I had a dear friend of mine visit from out of town and we took our daughters to The Tea Cup Tea Room over the weekend. It was everything you would expect in a tea room experience and more. From the detail to decor, the exquisite food and expert service, it is certainly a place I will visit again and again.

Is there anything quite as lovely and charming as an afternoon with your friends or daughters (or both!) in a tea room? The Tea Cup Tea Room provided my friend, daughter, friend's daughter and I with the most charming experience. The food was beyond delicious, the tea and (for my daughter) hot chocolate was simply perfect. In every nook and corner I spied something new. All of my senses were on full alert. Wonderful, charming, delightful, and simply perfect. I cannot wait to return for my second trip!

What a WONDERFUL tearoom!!! I took my sister and friend here while they were visiting from Nebraska. They LOVED the food as well as the atmosphere. I had to Promise to take them back again before they leave. :)

A small group of friends and I visited The Tea Cup Tea Room yesterday afternoon and were very pleased with the overall experience! I have been to many tea rooms in the area, and will be back to this one! Not only is the tea selection excellent, but the food was amazing. I ordered the Pink Diamond high tea, which came with not only the 3 tiers of treats, but also with Chicken Artichoke Brie soup and a delicious salad. I'm still dreaming of the soup! The service and atmosphere were perfect as well. Could not have asked for a better tea room experience, and this one is so conveniently located!

WOW! What a wonderful experience!!! My mother-in-law and I came in today and were very impressed. We have been to MANY tearooms and this is definitely one we will be adding to our repeat list!! The food, service and atmosphere were what we expected and more! My personal favorite was the peach, white chocolate and something else scones. My MIL says that the triple layer brownie was to die for and I must mention the out of this world little sample of the Chicken, Artichoke and Brie soup!!! Great Job! Oh and we actually enjoyed sitting by the window in the gift area. AGAIN GREAT JOB!!!!

My friends and I have been going to tea here since Lynn opened it. It's by far our favorite tea room. The scones are wonderful, the selection of teas is great, Lynn is gracious and we always have a wonderful time.

I have experienced tea rooms in the past as pretentious and uncomfortably formal. The Tea Cup is the exeption. Although beautiful and as formal as you want it to be,(I take my girls to teach them manners) it has an easy going atmosphere. The food is homemade and wonderful. It is a place where men can come and get a hearty lunch in a relaxing atmosphere and yet there is lighter fare as well. I had a birthday party where a few of the girls had Autism. Lynn, the owner helped us with grace and ease. Great place.

My friend and I have a tradition of taking each other to a tea room for our birthdays. Mine is in March, hers is May. We used to go to Ybor since it was close to work, but this year since we both live in Brandon, we decided to try your Tea Room. We were absolutely thrilled! It is beautiful inside and out! The food was great (altho the chicken salad was a little spicy for me), the scones were so fresh and the carrot cake was melt in your mouth moist! I know it's a little thing, but my place setting tea cup and saucer happened to be purple - my favorite color - and that just made my day! Our server saw we were looking at photos on my camera and just automatically took a picture of us! It was a wonderful experience and we will be back for more than just birthdays! Thank you!

I came for tea w/a couple of my girlfriends for my birthday last year and enjoyed it so much, I brought my mom for the Mother's Day High Tea this year. I think it was even better! The food was absolutely delicious! The Chicken Artichoke/Brie soup was just wonderful and everything is homemade. My mom and I visit different tea rooms as often as we can and this was her favorite! The staff is extremely friendly and we will be back again. In fact, my mom will be bringing her friends soon as well. Thank you for such a terrific experience.

My mom, dad, and I were here just last Thursday and had the most lovely time ever. We were so thrilled to be able to taste different teas from your wonderful selection. The High English Tea was most impressive. This place is absolutely adorable as well as quiet. I felt like I was in a real China Doll House. We are going back on May 21st for my birthday for lunch. I cannot wait!

I talked my life group from the church to go to the Tea Cup. the day before Mothers day . We are all over 55 yrs. old . some of them had never gone to a tea room. The owner Lynn and her son Cameron,were very gracious aqnd they took extra cared of my friends ... I will always be grateful for the special time we had .. The Tea Cup Tea Room is outstanding! I am so thrilled it is so close to home. I enjoyed lunch today with two frineds and my sister. We ooohed and aaahed from the serving of tea, a white acaia blend, to the last bite of an exquisite Hummingbird cake. We each enjoyed a different yummy sandwich, and the soup of the day, Crab and Corn Chowder, was rich and flavorful. The food, tea and ambience is calming. The rooms are nicely furnished, not overdone, and spacious. Jade is a fantastic server, ever smiling and efficient. Always, it is so fun to sit back, have another cup of tea and enjoy friends and family. You never feel rushed at The Tea Cup. This was my sixth visit, and there will be many more. My sister and I took our mother to the Tea Cup Tea Room today for an early mother's day outing. We thouroughly enjoyed our time at the Tea Room as we wandered around the lovely shop, ate by far the best chicken salad sandwich and sipped our strawberry lemonades. The staff is always very friendly, helpful and informative and we can't wait until we can go back again.

We had a dual baby shower with 34 guests at this lovely tea room yesterday that was a fabulous experience. The service by Jade and Cameron was outstanding (cheerful, competent and non-rushed) and we were all impressed by Cameron's ability to tell us the names of the teas by just sniffing the teabags! The chicken salad croissants, as well as the desserts were heavenly and our favorite tea was the peach apricot. The tea room was also very accommodating to our guests with special dietary needs. If you haven't had a Tea Cup Tea Room experience, I highly recommend one at your earliest opportunity!

Visited the tea room last week with my mother, who was visiting. I was delighted to find such a fantastic tea room! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, the teas offered are fantastic (the Rose Earl Gray being my favorite!), and the food was delicious. We had the Afternoon Tea, and relished every bite of the delectable foods served. The setting was beautiful and the service was relaxed and not pushy. I only wish I had found this tea room sooner! :)

My daughter and I visited on a Wednesday afternoon around noon, and so enjoyed our visit! The teas served are loose leaf, and we selected a Rose Earl Grey, which was excellent, followed by an herbal tea suggested by our server. Their menu offers lots of variety, and we had the Afternoon Tea, and enjoyed every bite! From some delicious chicken salad and cucumber sandwiches to the top tier of three dessert selections, everything was delicious and presented beautifully. The atmosphere is very relaxed, which I particularly noticed as they got crowded while we were there. We truly never felt rushed, and our server was so pleasant. Thanks so much for a wonderful tearoom experience!

I visited the Tea Cup for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. It felt like I was in another world, very relaxing and elegant. The food and tea was delicious. I am already planning my next get away to the Tea Cup.

I have attended several different types of functions here, and every one was enhanced by being held at the Tea Cup. The food, the service, and even the room with gifts for browsing, were all excellent; plus they have a wonderful variety of teas. Going to the Tea Cup is always a great time.

'Party at The Tea Cup'
I was at the Tea Cup Saturday for a retirement celebration. There were 16 of us. We pre-ordered our main course, so when we were ready the food came out swiftly. It was appealing to the eye & scrumptious to the palate. We were each offered a variety of teas & encouraged to try additional flavors when we were finished with the meal.

I was pleasantly pleased & impressed with the food and the setting.

A rich experience in every way!! 16 of us celebrated Bonnie's retirement with a fabulous lunch at The TEa Cup SAturday. Excellent service sets the stage for culinary delights, and a terrific variety of gourmet teas. The opportunity for shopping for clever gifts was not lost on my crowd either. I've been by for tea and lunches to go twice in the past 2 weeks as well. The Tea Cup is a treasure--discover it!!

We visited (drove over from Trinity, FL ) the Tea Cup for my daughter's 4th birthday. The group included my daughter, myself, her Grandma, her Nana (from Kentucky), her Aunt and 3 year old cousin. Us girls had such a great time. The food was fantastic and the service friendly. We will be back. Thank you for making my baby girls birthday special. Her face when the tier of food came just for her was priceless.

I took my soon-to-be 13 year old niece here today for her birthday trip. What a great experience! The staff were wonderful, the decor was warm and inviting, the tea and the food were incredible, and my niece was talking about it all day long. She wants to go back and just spend the morning sitting there sipping tea and chatting.

The best part for me? When the staff picked up on our celebrating her birthday and then brought her a birthday cupcake with a candle in it. This was fabulous and helped me be the coolest aunt in the world.

Enjoyed lunch while visiting from Illinois. Very busy that day- waiting area was packed- so we understood the limited service available to us. Will probably visit on next trip down.

Fantastic teas, scrumptious food, wonderful ambiance, and delightful company was the recipe for success for a girls tea not too long ago! A wonderful secret of East Hillsborough County that I plan on sharing with friends and family!

Thank you for the lovely time. This truly is the best kept secret in Brandon. My aunt was visiting from PA and had never been to a real Tea Cup. She was so impressed, My handicapped mother is always accommodated and really gets to enjoy her day out. This is the only tea house I will visit in our area. Can't wait for my next lunch date with the girls.

I loved the bridal shower, the scones, the tea, everything was so wonderful! I went to another tea room in brandon and was put off by a nasty birdcage by the door. At least your tea room is clean and animal free.

I recently visited the tea room for the first time with a sizable group. The whole experience was delightful---food, serice, and atmosphere. A real ambiance treat!

If you want to do something special for your mother, grandmother, daughter or your best friend the Tea Cup Tearoom is a wonderful place to take them for lunch. It is very elegant but not too expensive. The staff treats you like you are special.
It is a beautiful place to go. You can leave your worries on the doorstep and step into another world of peace and tranquility.

This place is simply excellent! It exudes a calm southern charm and features delicious menu items served by friendly and efficient staff members. I've been here twice within the past month and I've been very pleased both times. The first time I went with a finicky 10-year-old who ended up enjoying the kids' meal that featured a grilled cheese sandwich cut into various shapes; both he and his 4-year-old sister enjoyed the macaroni and cheese. When I brought my mother for the next visit, the very gracious owner took time to explain the differences between British and Victorian tea services and offered a sample of her creamy (and very tasty) chicken-articoke soup. Definitely worth the visit!

I love The Tea CUP Tea room!! I bring my adult piano students twice a year for Pink Diamond High Tea and I try to come with new friends a couple of times per year so that they can experience the wonderful food and the ambience. I like the fact that we never feel rushed, girls like time to visit so our lunches often turn into 2 hours and Lynn and Jade are always so gracious. I am impressed with their knowledge of all of the different teas, their suggestions are always amazing!! My favorite dishes are the Chicken Brie Artichoke soup, Chicken Salad Croissant and the amazing Scones that are part of the high tea!!
And it is always great to be able to purchase tea to take home!!

Delicious lunch. I especially loved the crab corn chowder on this chilly day. What a treat to feel pampered in such beautiful surroundings. Relaxing with good friends today was a real treat. Thank you to all the friendly staff.

Went a few days before Christmas with my mom, sister and four year old niece. It was my niece's first time at a 'fancy' tearoom and Lynn and Jade, our server, were excellent with her. They made her feel welcome and answered all of our questions and were happy to accomodate her food allergies. The good was wonderful and the tea, delicious!

I wish I had known about this tea room when I had my baby shower. What a wonderful place for a small event - the food is to die for.

Lynn and Jade created the perfect venue for me to honor my daughter with her bridal shower. Everyone loved the decor, the food was fresh and had such a homemade touch, service always attentive but unassuming and friendly atmosphere.

I went to another tea room in Brandon on Parsons (Victorian Grace) and they treated me very unprofessionally. I was almost intimidated to seek out another but was glad to find this little tea room. The people were great and the food was phenominal. I am so glad to find the tea cup.

I have visited this tea room on 4 different occasions and each visit left me feeling relaxed and grateful for the experience. The variety of teas is wonderful. My favorite must be the lemon lavender - how soothing, yet each one I try leaves me wanting more. The food is delicious and never overpowering. The chicken cranberry salad is to die for. And the petite deserts... ooh la la! Just enough so as not to feel you've been bad. Lets not forget the unique gift shop... There are several items I'll be back for. I look forward to the holiday dinners so I can introduce my hubby to this fine establishment.

I drove up from Bradenton to visit with a friend who has been to the Tea Cup many times. It was worth the drive, a little gem in the hustle bustle of everyday life!

I have been coming to the Tea Cup for over a year. I come usually about once a week. It's my 'get away' from the world time. Jade is excellent with customer service. Wendy and Vicky make excellent food!!! And, Lynn, what a lovely hostess and owner of such a lovely place. I have brough probably 20 clients and/or friends to this place and now they bring friends.......this is a 'must see' tea room and experience! Keep up the good work ladies:)

The atmosphere is wonderful, the service is exceptional, and the food was outstanding. Specifically, I ordered the artichoke/chicken soup, salad with parmesian dressing, chicken salad croissant sandwich and dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend The Tea Cup Room!

I just got back from a lunch at The Tea Cup and as always it was excellent. Jade did a fantastic job of waiting on us and the food was the best. The pumpkin cheesecake was outstanding. I can't wait to go back and take my family with me. You all must visit soon.

Each time I have visited the Tea Cup, my experience has been outstanding. The selection of teas are numerous (hot and iced), the food is unique and delicious and the atmosphere is always relaxing and quaint. The cream of chicken, artichoke and brie soup is a must taste experience. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Before or after the visit, browsing through the gift shop will surely reveal many unseen treasures. We are lucky to have this culinary treasure in our backyard.

I spent a lovely couple of hours on Saturday having lunch with a girlfriend, and we had a wonderful time. We were seated in a room that we had to ourselves most of the time, which pleasantly surprised me--the parking lot was full so I expected to be crammed in the middle of a bustling room. The food was delicious, and I was only sad that I didn't have room for dessert. My tea (decaf English breakfast) was perfectly brewed, and I tried my friend's Paris tea as well--very tasty, I think I'll have that next time. The young man who waited on us was a little distracted, but he was very helpful in finding out answers to our tea questions if he didn't know himself. We weren't rushed at all and were able to really enjoy our time there. I'll definitely be back!

I have tried many Teahouses in the Tampa area and the Tea Cup is by far the best one! The food, service and ambiance are perfect!! Try it...you will be happy. While a little pricey, it is definitely in line with all other teahouses and worth every penny.

Of course being naturally nosy I had to first read the other reviews and I have to say I'm stunned I am a frequent visitor of this wonderful Tea room because of its down home feel and its warm staff no to mention the food is amazing! Its funny to in response to the last review I remember the first time the waitress ever served me I was shocked to find out she had other guest since she made us feel as if we were her only guest keep up the great work I will definitely be back soon

Service was very slow! Waitress waited on several tables without even giving us a second glance. Finally after ordering we waited 30 minutes for food. The owner worked the room but offered no help for food delivery. I felt for the money it was very disappointing and I live in area but doubt I will be returning or recommending the tearoom.

I have enjoyed tea at the tea cup acouple times now and I must say I just love it! The food and service!I also read some of the comments people have written here and just want to laugh at the ones that are so picky. The point is to calm yourself ,relax,enjoy the food atmosphere and the company of those your with.I could find no fault and even booked my daughters bridal luncheon there.
