Overview
We specialize in loose leaf teas and traditional afternoon tea fare. We serve lunch and afternoon tea. Our gift bouTEAque - Teapots & Tassels - contains unique gift items related to tea and other items such as linens, jewelry, stationary, table top items and so much more. Our facility is available for private functions, such as bridal or baby showers, retirement parties, business meetings, small corporate functions, birthday parites, and so on. We are planning our 2008 events calendar and will hold special events, such as cooking and ettiquette classes, wine tastings, book signings, tea leaf readings and much more.

What a treat!! Loved the atmosphere, the food and the experience. The hostess even took our picture and then emailed it to us through her i-phone. It was so much fun, I'm coming back to celebrate my daughter's graduation in a few weeks!

What a delightful tea room! 'The Tea House' clearly understands what Afternoon Tea should be. The waitstaff was attentive and pleasant, the food was DELICIOUS, the owner was as gracious and welcoming as the tea room she has created. I've been looking for a tea room all over the Charlotte area for the last two years and nothing has satisfied. The Tea House is far above and beyond anything else that is available in this area. I am eager to return!

I was given, as a Christmas gift, an afternoon tea at The Tea House. Never have I been offered at high tea such a broad selection of teas and delectable morsels. I especially loved the attention to detail that Terri put into the polished décor as well as the beautiful table settings. She has created an atmosphere which invites her guests to linger long over their cup of tea. This should be on the list of The Best of Charlotte!

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at The Tea House on a Saturday during November 2007. The building and decor of The Tea House is beautiful. Be sure to look at each room, they each have a different decor. Every employee we encountered was very nice and friendly. The food was good and we enjoyed what we ate. The tea was great and they had a wide selection to choose from. I like that they also sell loose tea, I bought a few to take home with me. I will be back to have lunch or afternoon tea. If you are in the area, stop by and give them a try.
