The Tea Parlor

The Tea Parlor is a quaint tea room with a lot of delicious food and a wide variety of teas. Each person has the availablitity to order their own pot of tea allowing everyone the opportunity to enjoy several different teas. The service is impeccable. Great experience.

The Tea Parlor is a lovely tea house with an amazing variety of teas to choose from. The owner and staff are very nice and friendly. The decor is lovely. The food is very good; it's a great place for my sisters and I to sit and catch up.

My daughter and I have visited many tea rooms for the past 8 years. Our experience and the food at The Tea Parlor has, by far, been the best food and experience we have ever had! We'll be back many times!

(one of whom is 98 years old)
and I especially enjoyed the
scones, the ham with orange tarragon butter, the glazed orange bar, the rosemary thyme bread,and the incredible carrot cake cookie, all while trying several teas. We were enthralled by the birthday tea party celebration at an adjacent table of best-behavior, party-dressed little girls. From pre-schoolers to those near 100, we all were spending a happy and memorable afternoon at The Tea Parlor!

My daughter and I visited The Tea Parlor recently. We had a delightful afternoon. Upon arrival, we were seated in her home's tea parlor and promptly poured a cup of the featured tea. It was wonderful to sip tea as we made our selection from her extensive tea menu. A small dish on our table held shortbread to nibble during our quandary. She offers flavored black (13 varieties), Oolongs (2), Black(11), Green(8), White (5), and Herbal & Fruit Infusions(12). (We loved the Summer Pudding.) All are loose leaf and available by the ounce for purchase. Tea was unlimited and we enjoyed several varieties, prepared properly, with our tea goodies. A three tiered server held a tier of cheese/crackers with fresh fruit, the next held four sandwiches each, and the final one was three sweets each.... (more) We were served a savory, hot from the oven during tea time. Our tea finale was a couple of scones, served with the best Devonshire Cream I have tasted. We asked for her secret. She said it starts with quality cream from Amish cows. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Two groups of ladies with very well behaved young ladies were having tea at the same time we were. The hostess was very child friendly and offered an adorable childs tea. It ended with ice cream, much to the delight of one of the young ladies. Overall a wonderful tea experience in the hostess' home. Her menu changes monthly and I wish we lived closer. I would love to add it to my list of tea rooms I visit each month.

I invited all of the women in my family to The Tea Parlor, and we had a fabulous time! Everyone was very impressed with the tea, the food, and the service. The afternoon could not have gone any better! We are looking forward to returning soon. This was definitely better than going to a super crowded restaurant or cafe. The atmosphere was so charming. Highly recommend!
