Variety: I have tried to have tea there 3 times! Each time the door is wide open and people are just being served and my party has been told we are closed. If this tea room is still open in a year it will be by the grace of god. Don't waste your time there are wonderful tea spots up and down the beautiful Oregon coast. |

Variety: The hours on this website need to be updated. It isn't the tea party's fault regarding the last two negative reviews regarding house. The Tea Part is open Friday and Saturday at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (ish) and Sunday at 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (ish). Call for reservations to guarantee a table 574-0545 and fix this website's hours please. Thank you. |

Variety: During a recent vacation down the oregon coast for our daughter's birthday, we scheduled a lunch/tea here. When we arrived during the posted business hours we found the tea house closed for no apparent reason and no explanation. We were very dissappointed and a little angry. We won't try again, wish we had stopped first in Tillamook at La Tea Da. |

Variety: During a weekend trip to the coast we drove over an hour out of our way to experience tea at The Tea Party. We arranged our schedule to arrive well before their posted closing time of 5 pm. We arrived at 3:30 pm. As we waited for service I notice a party having tea in the tea room. Shortly thereafter to our great disappointment, the proprietress bluntly informed us that the tea room was closed for the day. It is highly unusual for a tea room to close just as high tea is traditionally served. This is the third time we have given this tea room a chance to improve their service and food. The first two disappointing visits were forgiven as the tea room had just recently reopened after the wonderful Tea and Tomes (formerly in the same location) closed. However, after this most disappointing visit, I doubt we will be back again. We will visit the dependable and wonderful Lovejoy’s tea room in Florence. |
