I went to SCAD and found this place along Broughton St. I absolutely love it! The atmosphere is great- Arts & Crafts and the staff are excellent and VERY knowledgeable about tea. The food is great and the presentation. They do an excellant job. They also have a great gift shop where you can buy tea themed items, Arts & Crafts style items, and fresh tea or personally mixed tea! Where can you get that?! I think this is the Ultimate tea place that I've visited in the country!

My family and I enjoyed afternoon tea at The Tea Room during our recent visit to Savannah. We love to have tea when we travel, but unfortunately for us, many tea rooms discourage or don't allow children. However, the staff of The Tea Room was welcoming and accomodating of our party of two adults and four children. We found The Tea Room to be elegant and refined, yet relaxed and friendly. Our visit to Savannah was perfect, thanks to The Tea Room. This tea room has the prestige of being named one of Bruce Richardson's Best Tea Rooms in America, and for good reason!

My husband and I made our first trip to Sav., GA this week. We had contacted this Tearoom and made reservations for a Full Afternoon Tea at 3pm. The heat that day reached 94 and we arrived at the tearoom about 45 minutes early. We were greeted with great southern hospitality. Seated by the fireplace in the Library and served tea until our table was ready. The staff was very attentive. They accelerated our serving schedule and escosted us to a beautiful candle-lite table with pure white linens. Another pot of tea was served with a tier of scones and tea sandwiches garnished with fruit and flowers. The next course was a quiche and it was followed by raspberry and lemon sorbet. To complete the tea we were served a tray of sweets and chocolate covered strawberries. Making this a true... (more)

My husband and I had a FABULOUS experiance at the Tea Room in Savannah while on vacation. Only 6 reviews on Teamaps!!!!!???? Surely your patrons or visiting tourist do not know about teamaps. Anyhow this tearoom tops the charts of all other such places I have visited. WOW! Sophisticated and elegant. A great tearoom for couples since it is not overly lacey and girlie. If your driving I 95 it is a short hop over to stop in and have lunch.
The propriotor is a T-expert. Has the best selection of loose teas I have seen to date. A must for any tearoom enthusist.

Great ambiance, wonderful Southern-charmed atmosphere, and a delightful selection of food and exquisite teas.
A must for any tea aficionado visiting Georgia's oldest and most beautiful city.
