Variety: My friend and I went to visit the tea room this afternoon and while the setting was very quaint the service was less than desirable. We were seated with hospitality but it was clear once we ordered the server wanted us out of there ASAP. They struggled with making a chai tea so I recommend not ordering that because it was WAY too sweet (though the balance of the spices was pretty good). The server came to check on us to see if we wanted anything else and we said no thankyou and he quickly grabbed our plate of cake, scones, and cream and took it away without asking if we were finished. We were not but we let it go. Then he proceeded to come back and take our tea pots away without asking if we were finished. So we just finished the tea in our cups and paid the bill. The place has potential but needs a lesson or two on allowing the customers to sit and enjoy their 'tea time'. |

Variety:
This tea room has a gorgeous gift shop and has done a marvelous job of carrying out the arts-n-crafts theme in the dining areas. |

Variety: My daughter and I were disappointed, we went there at 2 in the afternoon and the specials were potato soup and chicken caesar salad. After we ordered our 'Lunch Tea' the waiter came out and said they were out of soup and romaine lettuce, well 95% of the menu has romaine lettuce. He wanted to put caesar dressing on spring mix lettuce. We said no and he said we all ready prepared it for you that way.He never came back to table after that. They gave us the wrong tea as well. The table next to mine got my pot, and I got hers. Never did get scones or dessert which comes with the lunch tea. They wanted us out for some reason. Also I felt that the place needed to be dusted in the front, very out dated too! I was very disappointed to say the least! |

Variety: I live in Savannah and visit this tearoom with friends for special occasions. It is wonderful! The teas are outstanding as well as the service. The food is beyond delicious. It is artful. I highly recommend asking for the table in front of the fireplace on a cold winter's day. Yes, it does occasionally get cold in Savannah. |

Variety: I went to SCAD and found this place along Broughton St. I absolutely love it! The atmosphere is great- Arts & Crafts and the staff are excellent and VERY knowledgeable about tea. The food is great and the presentation. They do an excellant job. They also have a great gift shop where you can buy tea themed items, Arts & Crafts style items, and fresh tea or personally mixed tea! Where can you get that?! I think this is the Ultimate tea place that I've visited in the country! |
