Overview
The Tea Room, in Leonardtown for 13 years, is located within The Maryland Antiques Center on Route 5. Started as "The Tea Cozy" many years ago, we have grown to a full service dining experience, including a wine bar, and dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, from 5:30-9:00pm. In 2007, we began monthly wine tastings, which provides a delightful end to a busy day!

Food: The service is excellent here. Every time I have enjoyed a meal at the Tea Room, the staff has been kind, informative, discreet and professional. The menu has remained pretty constant despite changes in ownership, and the ambiance has been freshened, but remains homey. Note that the dining areas are located in the antiques center, so shoppers may wander through rooms as you are dining - this was disconcerting the first time I visited. The owners have done a great job at sticking to the 'traditional' tea concept - the idea of a Victorian high tea with traditional foods and a focus on guest comfort. There aren't many surprises on the menu, but what's available is tasty and filling. |

Food: Four of my friends visited the tea room in May and had very relaxing and enjoyable time. We each tried different teas and each got their tea in they own tea pot which I really liked then we tried each others brand. Orange Spice is my favorite. The bread pudding there is to die for. The service was excellent and very friendly. I have told several people about the wonderful place. |

Food: My friends held a baby shower for me at The Tea Room and it was an absolutely magical day! We all had a fantastic time, including my English Grandmother:~) The finger sandwichwes were divine and there was every type of tea imaginable! They even gave me a teacup and saucer as a gift...Thanks for making a very special day that much more memorable! We'll definitely return!! |

Food: We celebrated my birthday at The Tea Room, and what a day it was. We had a wonderful time, were treated like welcomed friends, and I was given the cutest teacup and saucer with a teabag in it as a gift. What a lovely thought! This little tearoom is truly one that has it all, great location, great food and even better servers! |

Food: Mary and I would like to thank everyone who helped put on our 'High Tea' for Monday afternoon. The place card with my name on it was an especially nice touch and very thoughtful. Every morsel we tasted was just terrific.We had such a grand time and look forward to coming again. Mary and I hadn't been able to get together for over two years, so it was so much fun to include the tea is our afternoon of antique/gift shopping adventures. A special thanks to our waiter, I'm sorry I didn't get his name, for all the attention he gave us. For his first TEA he did a great job. Kudos to everyone!!! |
