We went to the titanic tea event which was so much fun. We love the atmosphere, it is beautiful and clean. The food was ok, I had potato soup that was great flavor and texture. But was room temperature. The brown sugar scones were delicate, warm and flavorful. The tea tray came, the cranberry chicken salad in a toast bowl. Unfortunately the toast was burnt on top. The quiche was also slightly burnt. The beef Wellington and salmon sandwiches were great! The 3rd sandwich was a piece of wheat bread with strawberry spread. Dessert was shot glass chocolate mousse with strawberries, very good. Lemon bar wth raspberries. Drizzle, it was overly powered lemon in flavor, texture was good, one bite was all you could eat. The hummingbird cupcake was moist but dense with overly sweet icing. Bucking ham tea was totally awesome. Hosts were wonderful and we enjoy spending time with them.

Our tea group loved that you could change teas during our high tea. We were able to try 6 different teas. The choices for savories and sweets was outstanding, especially the creamsicle. You have our viote for best in the Bay and Central Florida area. Thank you for being you

Donna, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a great review. We believe by allowing our customers to change to a different tea sets us apart, not to mention Aimee's creations. I'm a bit biased I guess, since she is my wife

Had my second visit to this tea room in Feb. First visit in former location was very nice. Good food and service. New location is lovely and the food is good, but other things not so great. First off, it was a cold day and the bathroom was freezing. I understand the landlord was in charge of the HVAC system, but why couldn't a space heater be placed in the bathroom to warm it up slightly. $25 at Wal-Mart. Simple fix. Secondly, my friend and I waited for more than 30 minutes for our pot of tea. The place didn't seem that terribly busy. Then another 30 minutes for our food. Considering the menu specifies time limits for each tea sitting we were concerned that we would have to eat in a hurry, but when we inquired as to the enforcement of those limits we were told we would be allowed extra time to enjoy our meal. Our waiter was very friendly and said another group quite demanding. made me wonder why one party would have to suffer, why not get another of the wait staff to take over.

Tearoom Response
Gail, Sorry for the delay on our response, as well as the visit you experienced. We had just opened in November in our new location and were still working out all the quirks of an old house. Depending on what you ordered would depend on the wait for the food. As any tea room, when you order any of our menu items that include tea sandwiches, there will be a delay since everything is made fresh to order and there is an attention to detail. We do manage our staff according to the amount of reservations that we have for that day, we can't always know how many walk ins we will have. We do foster an unhurried relaxing atmosphere and would never rush anyone out due to our delay. John

My daughter and I have been to your Tea Room 4 times, (2 of them with my granddaughter at the Downton Abbey Tea.) We love the new location and have always ordered the high tea. You have the best soups and scones! The setting is very relaxing and quaint and the servers are attentive and knowledgeable about the teas on offer. My sister from Manitoba is visiting in March and insisting on a trip to your Tea Room. Looking forward to it.

Visited at the new location (old Rogers Christmas House). Happy to see these buildings being used again. The location is nice the decor nice , not over done. The service was courteous , polite and servers knowledgable and were dressed cutely. We had the High tea, which included-soup, quiche, sandwiches, a scone and some petit four style desserts. The broccoli soup topped with pie crust was served in a tea cup and was very tasty. The crustless spinach quiche was also very good (not a typical portion, on the small side) as was the golden crusted blueberry scone And although the scone was served with Devonshire cream , there wasn't any jam/jelly/marmalade served with it, but you can purchase lemon curd at an additional cost Our finger sandwiches were cream cheese and cucumber, pi... Tlee, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a gracious review. My wife and I were definitely born in the wrong era. We have a passion to not only bring life back to old houses, but to put a unique spin on them and to fellowship with our customers. My wife also is the one who has decorated and has made all of the floral arrangements thru out. Most of the recipes are hers as well and she uses a lot of great ingredients. My hat is definitely off to her! She puts so much detail into everything that is placed onto our plates, tiers and into our teacups. We are very Blessed to have such an awesome staff as well. What I'm trying to say is, a lot goes into the preparation and it's more than that.....the experience from the first step you take onto our porch. If there was a way to make it more affordable without sacrificing the quality of our food, Aimee and I would definitely pass that savings onto our customers. We thank you again for taking the time and we appreciate your business. John and Aimee

My three best friends and I just had one of our best tea experiences at the Tilted Teacup!! Even though we were late and spent longer than we should have catching up over wonderful pots of tea (we purchased the Sleepy Hollow on the way out) our hosts were gracious, and the food was great, and the ambiance was superb!!!! We look forward to returning again!!
