Have visited this tea room multiple times and I have to say it is my favorite! The food, service and tea is wonderful, as well as the decor of this beautiful house. The special events they plan throughout the year are a lot of fun, too.

Three of us drove from St Petersburg to this fabulous tea room for our first experience on 2/7/14 and totally loved every minute of our time. The food was delicious, the scones were served warm and service from Jan was fun and friendly. We loved the town and everyone we met in Brooksville and can't wait till our next trip!

What a wonderful recent High Tea Luncheon we had with you .... we are so happy to have discovered you, hidden among those magestic oaks and in the quaint little town of Brooksville, it was a great Saturday adventure. Aimee and John, we were all delighted to met you and discover so many interests together, tea 'talk' high on our lists. Thank you for your gracious hospitality and to the staff, we all so enjoyed.

I took a bus of 50 ladies to this Tea Room for a pot of Tea and sweets and the Swedish Apple Cake was hot out of the oven and they all said was mouth watering good! I had the pumpkin cheese cake and it was the best! Raves about the carrot cake too. When you get not one complaint from 50 ladies you know the food is excellant. Thanks for the good time. I been getting feed back there will be a lot of returns to eat again at your place!

What a grand experience !!! Every single moment you are in the tearoom and on the grounds of this beautiful refurbished home you feel the magic! The way you are treated makes you want to continue visiting every chance you get. They welcome you as if you are old friends and make you feel warm and fuzzy all over !
Now let's talk about the food. Which is AMAZING !! Every menu item is so fantastic (and I tried most of them ) you just can't help eating more and more. I know Amiee is a fabulous chef however, I know her secret ingredient is true love for her guests . You can taste it in every bite . Her scones are some of the best I've ever had , not to mention that quiche ! The tea selection is massive, I drink pot after pot at each sitting ! Goodness I want to visit again right now ! I'v... Absolutely brilliant! The food was perfect (best quiche I've ever had) and don't get me started on the goat cheese desert! Pricing was great for all the food you get! We had McKenna as our server and she was simply the sweetest girl ever c: loved it and can't wait to go back!!

Very Pricey for the small portions you get. Menu is limited on selections. Tea Room is very small, but pretty. Not sure I would return, this Tea Room just doesn't compare to the other tea rooms in Mt Dora and Weeki Wachee.

Tearoom Response
Very sorry you feel that way Amy. Thank you for being honest and taking the time to write us a review. We do pride ourselves on the quality of the food as well as the portions. We will definitely take this review to heart. Have a blessed day:)

My sister and I and my granddaughter were here in early June. I never thought to write a review until I came upon this page. We had a wonderful time and one of the very best high teas we've ever had (and we try all the tearooms across Florida). To borrow a line from Mary Poppins: The Tilted Tea Cup is 'practically perfect in every way!' In fact, if you believe in 'perfect' it truly is! The food is excellent and very professionally prepared and served (highest compliments to Aimee!). There are so many delicious and inviting teas that it is hard to choose one (not to worry, though, the teas are available for sale in the gift shop). The tea room is in a Victorian home that is decorated beautifully and filled with southern charm (including a big front porch with a swing and small tables.)... (more)

What a lovely afternoon I spent with my daughter on Saturday celebrating the Titanic Tea event. The teas chosen were wonderful and the tea trays were lovely as well as very tasty. We enjoyed the room we were in along with a group of lovely ladies that came from The Villages and dressed for the occasion! We wound up exchanging phone numbers and e-mails! Aimee and John you did a wonderful job. The servers were all very attentive and we lucked out -- we got Aimee's Mom as our server and she was such a delight! (I think you should hire her full time!!) We always enjoy visiting your lovely tea room. It is so calming, a true break in the day. Your staff is always very gracious and I have seen them all improve each time I've visited. We look forward to our next visit.

My daughter, two friends and I absolutely enjoyed our vist yesterday to experience the Salute to the Titanic. One of the hi-lites was talking to John and Amiee about the history of the house and getting the tea room off the ground. We are all looking forward to our next visit. One suggestion...have some signs around town directing you to the Tilted Teacup.

- Helen Cooney, Clermont 07/28/13

Tearoom Response
We're so glad you enjoyed our tea room Helen:) I've actually put signs around town, but the zoning doesn't allow them so they get picked up. We do have a billboard and looking to get another one. Thanks for the tip!

A group of my Victorian club members attended the Titanic Tea event. The food was delicious, the potato soup was divine, marvelous teas, lovely place setting, and the efficient, lovely server who told us tales of Titanic survivors. We loved this tearoom and plan to travel there many times to sample their delights especially that soup!.
