Variety: The Victorian parlor is always a special time for our group. We have visited each year in the fall for the last 5 years. The menu always contains such a different variety from year to year. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic. Paula and Darrell always add that personal touch. A great experience. |

Variety: Very quaint with, obviously, a Victorian flavor in decor. Two type of teas were offered throughout our lunch, both were very good. One was vanilla and the other a cranberry. A six course lunch was offered; starting with a fruit cup, then a plate of delicious homemade chocolate scones, chocolate muffins and cranberry bread. We then moved on to a delicious salad, followed by tea sandwiches of chicken salad and wraps. We then had a homemade beef noodle soup, which was followed by the most wonderful dessert of a light and airy type pound cake with a pineapple cream filling in the middle, a whipped cream topping, drizzled with a raspberry sauce. Delicious. And the atmosphere is very warm, with the owners themselves helping to serve their patrons. They also showed us an original photograph of... (more) |

Variety: We always have a great time when we visit the Victorian Tea Parlor. Paula and Darryll make the visit enjoyable. The food cannot be beat for quality and quantity! We never leave there hungry. The tearoom itself, with its fabulous hats and gift shop, is well worth a visit. This place is a favorite of our group, the Lacie Racie Ladies of the Red Hat Society. I would not hesitate recommending it. |

Variety: As Queen Mum for the Lacie Racie Ladies, Red Hat Society, I get to visit many tea parlors. This is the best! They have great food (and plenty for all), lovely hosts in Paula and Darrell, beautiful gardens which gave us a wonderful back-drop for pictures, and really neat gifts in the gift shop. They even have Victorian things. The hats on display really add to the atmosphere and are available to wear. This is a great place for groups, families and couples. Would highly recommend! |

Variety: Seven of us retired teachers had a wonderful time when we went to tea in Spring Grove. The variety of foods offered was delightful and each and every dish was delicious. The atmosphere is fancy Victorian and very pretty. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to sample a few more flavored teas instead of just the two, but both of those we were served we lovely. (Offering more than 2 could well be a logistical nightmare for the servers.) Can't wait to go again! |

Variety: I went with a group of teachers to celebrate the beginning of summer, and we had a wonderful time! The service was great and the food was tasty. I'm not a huge tea drinker, but the vanilla tea was very flavorful. I have been to this tea house before and had a great time as well. I would come back for sure. |

Variety: The Victorian Parlor was a fantastic experience for myself and my best friend. The tea service was exquisite and the food was simply out of this world!!!! I'm still trying to figure out how they made a little garden salad taste so amazing! The staff, especially Darrell, went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We had special care paid attention to us even though the parlor was busy with many other large groups. Trying on the different asst of hats to complete the 'feel' was a ball. We can't wait to go back! Don't miss the strawberry tea and the unbelievable pastries! :-) |

Variety: The Victorian Parlor in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, is a wonderful place to visit - it's like a step back in time! The decor is truly Victorian in style and appearance. It has a very friendly atmosphers and promotes a place of peace and tranquility. The food is prepared fresh and is delicious. The food tea is both generous and memorable. The owners, Daryl and Paula, are most accommodating and very attentive along with the servers. The tea is a loose tea served in China tea pots with a cozy to keep it hot. There are 2 types of loose tea offered daily. Or, if you prefer something different, just ask your server! They will make every accommodation possible. I return often to The Victorian Parlor and take both family and friends. Visiting The Victorian Parlor is always a special time ... (more) |

Variety: The place is one of the best I've been to for tea and I've been as far as the Victoria, Canada and the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong for high tea. The atmosphere is charming with a nice garden out back (though it does back to a waste management facility, unfortunately; while the stench was bad in town, the aroma inside the tea parlor was delightful, so don't let the surrounding smell deter you from this place) and hats hanging all around that people can wear while having tea (they will even sell some of them - ask if interested; I bought one and got lots of nice compliments on it later that day) and other nice gifts for sale in the place (not just in the front room). The servers were all pleasant, and the six courses we had included: 1. Fruit salad with a coconut glaze that wa... (more) |

It is decorated so lavishly and beautifully in a victorian theme, creating the perfect atmostphere for a relaxing experience of having tea and conversing with friends or family. Variety: THe Victorian Parlor is in a delightful old building, and is decorated from top-to-bottom inside with Victorian embellishments. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I thought having the soup served as the 5th course seemed out of place, but it was very delicious! My only suggestion would be to use whole tea leaves instead of tea bags . . .they yields a richer brew. All told, a very nice place to visit! |
