How lovely and quaint-and to have a refreshing tea room we can enjoy. My friend and I go back every year as a treat for our birthdays. We love the deserts with our tea. Highly recommended.

Each May my sister, niece and I attend a womens retreat in North East and we never fail to skip out on the retreat lunch on Saturday to visit the Victorian Tea Cup. The atmostphere is delightful!. It is in a lovely old victorian home that is decorated beautifully. The ecclectic teacups and tea pots are simply lovely. We love choose our favorite tea cup. We always opt for a full tea...nothing less would do! We each have our own tea pot. We each choose a different tea and we always share. The teas are not loose leaf but tea bags. Although there isn't a large variety of tea, there is a fine sampling. The scones are warm and yummy and served with devenshire cream and butter. My only request would be to give a bit more of the devenshire cream. There is a wonderful sampling of sandwiches and I r... (more)

Our first experience with this tea room was wonderful. We will be returning soon! They offer a nice selection of tea (bags) and the food was to die for. Their chicken salad is the very best I've had (made with mango chutney and curry)! There were 5 other delicious sandwiches, fruit and dessert. And of course, there were warm scones (blueberry and cinnamon -- both were delicious) served with double devon cream and honey butter. The tea and dining experience were surpassed only by the wonderful service. The ladies were attentive and cheerful and in my opinion, made a marvelous experience all that much better. My mom, sisters and I have been trying different tea rooms and this one is by far our favorite.

I visited this tearoom for their Mother's Day Tea this past Sunday and it was a truly lovely experience. We had fresh fruit cup followed by a wonderful garden medley salad. The scones were some of the best I have had, still warm from the oven. Nice variety of tea sandwiches and desserts. Definetly worth the trip.

I have visited many tea rooms and have never ben served a pot of tea with a tea bag in it instead of loose tea. The flavors offered are all available in your local grocery store. The sandwiches were smaller then the normal and a little on the light side. The desserts were soggy from defrosting and the scones were microwaved. Good thing there was a tea / coffee shop on the same strip so at the least we were able to enjoy a good cup of tea. I will never frequent this tea room again nor will I recomend it to anyone.

Quaint and charming. Exactly what you would hope for in a tea room. Delightful atmosphere, supurb service, and an enchanting afternoon reminding me of 'old England'.

Have been to numerous tea rooms, esp. on the west coast, and this is by far one of the best ones I have been too. We were greeted by the owner Donna, and had a very relaxing time, in a lovely Victorian setting, and did not feel we needed to rush. Tea sandwiches were delightful with a nice variety of desserts, I even had to order an extra scone to take home. Service was outstanding, and I plan on returning with my mother who is a tea critic.

My best friend and I took my 4 yr old daughter for her birthday. The scones were the best that I have ever tasted and the decor truly charming. The owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Another area tea house would not seat my daughter because she was not 5 yrs old, but the Victorian Tea Cup was welcoming. My daughter behaved very well as she usually does and our experience was wonderful. As my daughter says, 'we are coming here lots of times'.

The service was wonderful, the tea room lovely, the food and desserts were excellent, however, the tea was a little perfumy. I would definately give it another try.

I love this little tea room and have been there in all four seasons. The food is always yummy and it is a very calm atmosphere. I always feel so relaxed after a visit. I have been to the Christmas candlelight tea and loved. It is one of my favorite tearooms and I will continue to visit as long as it is open.
