Overview
Located in historic downtown Montgomery where the Texas flag was designed and only 50 miles north of Houston, The Vintage Garden Tea House serves light lunches, home made desserts, traditional high tea, and can assist with planning special events and private dinners for groups. Past events have included Bridal Showers, Bridal Luncheons, Weddings, Baby Showers, Birthday Celebrations, Anniversary Celebrations, Private Dinners, and Tea Parties for Children and Adults. Seating is available in three dining rooms in the historic house as well as outdoor dining in the garden weather permitting. There is also a great gift shop and a number of antique shops and other shops within walking distance in the historic downtown area. The city comes alive during a number of special events held in the downtown area including Lone Star Saturday (first Saturday of every month), Annual Wine Festival (September), Annual Antique Show (May), and Christmas in Montgomery.

Food: I had my sister's baby shower with the crew here at the Vintage Garden Tea Room and they made it the best experience every. The service was like they were family and the food was excellent and the speciality cake was PERFECT!!!! So much that we are returning for my niece's dedication luncheon. Jamie and her mother are the best!!!!! |

Food: We have the worst experience in a Restaurant.We are a group of 14 well educated persons celebrating the birthday of one of us. When we finished, the Manager and her staff, due an error from the waitress,that she thought, two persons didn't pay, we were treated rudely. Of course, they do not know about respect, integrity and kindness (They don't know their meaning, sorry) with a customer. Check it out this negative attitud, we never get back to this place again. |

Food: I was impressed today while at The Vintage Garden. The food and service were great. However, what impressed me more was how the owner handled a very rude group of ladies that looked as though they were trying to leave without paying their bill. The owner remained calm even though the ladies were definitely out of line. It is obvious that they are now trying to make it worse by leaving bad reviews that are definitely not warranted. I would definitely recommend visiting this quaint tea room. |

Food: This restaurant is by far the BEST place to dine in Montgomery, Texas. The steaks are premium quality and cooked to perfection! The house is warm and inviting as are the servers. If you want a yummy desert this is the place to find it. |

Food: I'm sooo excited!! This is my new FAVORITE place to visit and bring my friends. When I walk in, I get a feeling that my Grandmother is with me. So vintage and nostalgic! The food is so tasty and so impressive. I am hoping to meet up with my friends at least twice a month for the great atmosphere, food, and fellowship. Oh, and a recipe book would be so wonderful! |
