Overview
Located in historic downtown Montgomery where the Texas flag was designed and only 50 miles north of Houston, The Vintage Garden Tea House serves light lunches, home made desserts, traditional high tea, Vintage Night dinners (Thursday and Friday) and can assist with planning special events for groups. Seating is available in three dining rooms in the historic house as well as outdoor dining in the garden weather permitting. There is also a great gift shop and a number of antique shops and other shops within walking distance in the historic downtown area. The city comes alive during a number of special events held in the downtown area including Lone Star Saturday (first Saturday of every month), Annual Wine Festival (September), Annual Antique Show (May), and Christmas in Montgomery.

Food: We love trying new tea rooms and decided to try high tea at the Vintage Garden. It is our absolute all-time favorite tea room now. The food is exquisitely delicious. Wish we had their recipe book. : ) All other tea rooms now pale in comparison. |

Food: Once I discovered this place I just can't seem to stop coming. I love it! Every waitress there is so sweet and hospitable. You feel very welcome. cute and warm environment, gorgeous little garden. I recently had a small birthday gathering for my birthday, my friends and I dressed up in victorian costumes and had a blast. Our server offered to take pictures for us... as many as we needed. The owner is so sweet and runs the place wonderfully. Thank you Vintage Garden Tea House! You guys are truly the best! |
