The Wild Plum Tea Room

Although this is not a regular tearoom, it is very unique. In a rustic setting, you can sit inside, on the porch, or outside. I have been several times, and the menu is always different and always delicious. My husband goes with me, and we try different things. Their stack sandwich is to die for! Large portions, a great wild plum tea (a mix of different things), and great service. Everything is fresh and delicious. We drive a couple of hours to get there, and it is worth the trip because the food is so good. One time there was a couple from England there, and they absolutely loved the food and setting. Enough said!

This is a charming place for lunch when visiting the Smoky Mountain area. It portrays the area's unique style by being housed in a log cabin. I loved how the waitresses were dressed. It was very crowded when we were there, and our table was small, but the atmosphere is so unique. It is in the Glades craftsman area off the beaten path in the Gatlinburg area. It's refreshing to find a restaurant so unusual and with such atmosphere. The portions are a little small for husbands who accompany their wives, but everything was delicious.
