Town and Country Cafe and Tea Room

We were pleasantly suprised at how wonderful this new Tea Room is. The server was so nice,the service great and we sat outside on a beautiful day. The food and tea were both excellent. I hope this one last, because we'll go again. I think they may have to add some decor on the inside, but nothing takes away from this tea house.

I just went to this place for the first time with my mother yesterday and we had a good time together. If you are looking for a wonderful afternoon tea experience, this is the place for you! This place is operated by GEC Catering and they recently opened Town and Country Cafe in downtown Kennesaw for lunch, Tea and all your special event needs. They are located next to the train museum. It was a very good location and easy parking. They used to own Grande Cafe on 2940 Dallas Street., Kennesaw, GA, but they closed that one. So, please do not go to that location. When I found out that they moved to a church building, honestly, I was a little bit disappointed. Because I was expecting to have some tea in an antique house and feel classy. Ambience:
Very clean and neat. They had a very clean bathroom!! People, this is very important! If you go to a restaurant and you find a dirty restroom, possibly, they have a very filthy kitchen. If you find a place like that, you do not want to dine. Their ambience, maybe more decorations would make a difference to their cafe. The theme of this place is 'country'. So, they need more country decorations to bring up the ambience. Right now, I am not going to criticize harshly. Because they just moved to a new location and they may need more times. Also, playing some classic music or light jazz music would make a difference too.

Server:
When I opened the door, there was a nice lady welcoming us with a warm smile. Later I found out that she is the daughter of the owner.
She was very friendly and she served us professionally. When the owner was cleaning up the buffet table, I saw a yummy looking quiche ( it was a non-crusted quiche). So, I asked her if I can try that quiche. I asked her the price of the quiche and told her that I want to have that to-go. Then she said 'Don't worry about it. I will get it for you'
It was so nice and offered me for free. I just eat the quiche for my breakfast this morning and it was so yummy! Young to old, everybody would lover her.

Food:
It was excellent. They served more than plenty for a reasonable price. We ordered two Full Parlor Tea for $17/person.
There were variety of scones, sandwiches, pound cakes, fruits and teas. We could not finish everything, so we packed some of our foods.
Their Branch/Lunch buffet ($10) looked great! Maybe I will try that next time.
We also had a salad and a bowl of soup.

GRANDE SALAD - $7 ---- Excellent! Fruity and refreshing salad!
