Overview
Over 100 teas: classics, rare varieties, best bubble tea around, tea lattes and chai from scratch, medicinal herbals, kava, NEW tea ice cream, samosas and sandwiches, bagels, pastries and treats. All teas available hot or iced, to stay or to go.
Patio seating. Local art on the walls. Good music and ambience--halfway between a coffee shop and a library.
OPEN DAILY 9 am - 10 pm. Come in and relax, enjoy a pot of tea with a friend, play some UNO or chess, try something new, make a new friend or chat with one of our friendly teatenders.

Hard to say whether the vast tea selection or the cool atmosphere is better at Townshend's. Both are great. I understand they've just opened another store in Bend for the lucky folks in Central Oregon.

Great place to sit, read, listen to music or play games while enjoying a cup of tea. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, huge selection of teas, free wi-fi, awesome bubble tea.
On Last Thursdays they usually have some sort of live music event or art show going on at the shop, which is fun to stop in for.
Highly recommended!

a very low key, extremely friendly staff serving an awesome assortment of tea--many organic. very Portland in atmosphere, you can sit and surf on their free wi-fi or sit outside and check the alberta arts scene. highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!
