We went to Tranquility Tea Room Monday February 20, 2012. From the outside it doesn't look like much but the interior is decorated very nicely. The drop ceiling was covered with lacey fabric make it a more intimate setting. The owner has different themes, we had the Peter Pan theme. The decorations were fun and so were the trivia questions that were very challenging. The variety of teas were more than adequate, the food was very good. I always think portions can be bigger but that is just me. All three of us were able to use our coupons and that allowed us to upgrade to the higest service saving us $2.00 each. We would go back but we are on a mission to go to every tea room within 60 miles of us. It may be a while before we get back. The owner was hospitable and friendly. We loved the hats and had a lot of fun trying on so many and taking crazy pictures. Check out the shot of us sitting at the table.

I loved this place! Two of my nieces were coming to town from the Bay Area and my mom and I wanted to take them, along with my other niece, to tea. My sister began taking my eldest niece to tea a few years ago ands he loved the experience, so we've continued it.

In March I went to another tea room with a friend and had really enjoyed it, but when I tried to figure out how this trip to the tea house would work with the owner of that place, I was responded to in an extremely rude manner.

It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I found Tranquility Tea Room!

I e-mailed the owner to ask if we could work around our needs. While my eldest niece, Mika (9), enjoys tea, the two younger ones who are 6 aren't big into tea. I didn't want to spend $15 on each of ... (more)

size of portions TINY. Price EXPENSIVE. very limited tea and food selection. Definitly not a place to go hungry. If it is a party for little girls, they will have fun dressing up in the hats and costumes. but not a lunch place. will not be back
